Rikers pov
I looked closely at Damiano, as he walked toward us with that shiny, long, sharp knife. He stopped about half way and smirked

Damiano: I thought you died

Riker: I don't give up easily

Damiano: there's some stuff, that you weren't suppose to know

Riker: and you only told me because you though I was going to die

Damiano: bingo!

Riker: well in standing in front of you, aren't I?

I needed to keep Laura safe, she's the reason why I was doing this, I'm risking all of this for her,because I realized that I still have feelings for her, and I have to have her.

Damiano: yes I can see that, and you see that's the problem

I tried to not show any fear, I walked up and grabbed Laura by the waist pulling her behind me, to keep her safe

Damiano: why don't you let my daughter go, and settle this

Riker: see I would say yes, but I can't do that

Damiano: and why's that's

Riker: do you really want me to say it out loud? Because I don't think your...

I paused and looked at Vanessa and Laura then at him

Riker: daughters wouldn't be so happy to hear it

Damianos smirked faded and looked at me as if I were his pray

Damiano: we all have secrets to keep

Riker: and some of them are better off if you just let them go

Damiano: I think your wrong

Riker: I know a lot about you, and I can just blurt it out right now, right here

Damiano: see, the problem is that if you do that, someone will have to pay the price

Riker: ill pay the price, for what I did

Damnio: see there's another problem, your not the one that's going to have to pay it...

And with that the lights went out, if was so dark I couldn't even see my own hands, I turned around and thought of Laura! I extended my arms out trying to reach for her, but all I felt was air

Riker: Laura...

Then the light turned back on, I felt like the sun was right in front of me burning my eyeballs out, once I got adjusted to the light I looked around for Laura

Damiano: See? Now, do you still want to blurt out those little secrets?

I turned around and saw Damiano, he had Laura in front of him with one arm around her neck and I knife close to her heart

Riker: you wouldn't

Damiano: try me

I stood up straight and looked at him, I had to be brave for her, I can't let her see me be weak

Damiano: now, let's do this my way

He smirked at me, still holding Laura in his arms, I looked to my left and saw Vanessa I could see the fear in her, her eyes were filled with tears

Laura's pov
-A few minutes ago-
The light went out all of a sudden, I tried not to scream, I tried to hold on the riker but I couldn't see a thing, then I felt someone take me by the arm, I let them thinking it was Vanessa or Riker, once the light turned back on, I covered my eyes and looked down

Damiano: See? Now, do you still want to blurt out those little secrets?

I turned around and saw Damiano, he had a the knife pointing at me, I looked back at riker

Riker: you wouldn't

Damiano: try me

I tried not to scream or cry, my heart was beating really fast I thought it was going to burst our threw my chest

Damiano: Now, let's do this my way

I could already see that smirk in his face. I looked at riker all worried, hoping he wouldn't hurt Riker, where's the others? Where's ross? He's suppose to be my hero! I guess he just doesn't care about me, Riker is my hero

Ross's pov
It was already 3 in the morning and he wasent home yet, where is he?? This is very important, the note she wrote him, I still can't believe it! I kept re-reading it over and over and over again! But it just didn't make sense to me, why Riker?! Why him??

Everyone was still awake hoping riker would burst through those doors any second now, but nothing. I just hope he isint hurt, because if anyone is gonna kill him, it's me! Well not really kill him but, ugh! You know what I mean!
