Vanessa's pov

God, why did I pressure Laura?! She ran downstairs, I looked at her for a while

Vanessa: where are you going?

Laura: I'm going to give Riker an answer

Laura ran outside, I sighed and got a little worried what if she's says no?! god I have to go see what happens! I grabbed my keys and ran outside, I ran to the lynchs house, I saw Laura get greeted by Ross, I ran in before he could close the door

Riker: yeah

Laura: yeah I...

We were all looking at her and Riker, I even got a little worried what if she says no? what if she says yes?! god my parents would kill me if they found out Laura was dating a 22 year old! but they do know Riker, and they do love him

Ratliff: what's the answer?!

Laura laughed a little and Riker just looked at Ratliff

Riker: so?

Riker faced Laura

Ross's pov

I can't believe this is actually happening, what if Laura says yes?! I'll have to figure out a way to pull them apart, but if she says no then I'll just wait till the right moment... wait what was a saying? I'm with Maia and I love her and she's pregnant with my child! I looked over to her, it looked like she was whispering and arguing with Rocky, they've been acting weird

Laura: I finally made up my mind,

and I have to say the way you asked me out was romantic, but....

Yes there's a but!! that means it's a no!!! wait what am I doing? everyone was looking at me, I looked up and saw my hands in the air making fists

Rydel: Ross what are you doing?

Ross: I'm uh...trying to catch this stupid fly!

I started moving my hands in the air, making it look like I was trying to catch something, I sighed and put my hands down, everyone turned back to Laura and Riker

Laura: anyways, like I was saying...but Riker I've though about it and I think that it's probably not such a good idea

Riker sighed and looked down, I started jumping up and down inside, yes!!! boom baby!

Laura looked down and smiled

Why is she smiling?

Laura: I wasn't done

Riker looked up at Laura

Laura: I think it's not such a good idea to keep Rydel upset about us not dating

Riker smiled

Riker: so is that a yes?

Laura: yes

Ross: what?!

Rydel: what!!

Riker smiled and picked up Laura and spun her around, everyone laughed

Riker: you had me worry there for a second

Riker put Laura down

Laura: just promise me one thing

Riker: anything

Laura: we will always be friends no matter what

Riker: I promise

Riker pulled out the promise ring and slipped it on Laura's finger, Laura laughed and hugged Riker. I was so close! I need to convince her that Riker isint her guy, I am!! I know I'm with Maia, but when we "ran away" together I had so much fun with her, i think I like her

Laura: i have to go, school remember

Riker: you still go to that?

Laura laughed

Laura: yeah!

Ross: I'll be right back, I have to go get something from the car

I walked outside and waited for Laura, I didn't have to get anything from the car all I wanted right now was Laura! Minutes later she walked outside, I grabbed her by the hand and pulled her to the side

Laura: oh, hey Ross

Ross: why?

Laura: why what?

Ross: why would you go out with Riker?

Laura: because I like him

Ross: no you don't

Laura: what are you talking about?

Ross: didn't you feel it?!

Laura: feel what?

Ross: when we ran away, we had so much fun, i felt something I've never felt before, when I'm with you I can feel this feeling inside of me

Laura: I did had something for you those few days, but I've realized that it's not right...your with my best friend!

Ross: I know, but I can't ignore my feelings!

Laura: I'm sorry Ross

Ross: no, I know you still like me Laura

Laura: god Ross, why does it matter?!

Ross: because I like you, and I know like you said I'm with Maia but...

Laura: but nothing Ross, I just got together with Riker, I don't want to mess it up

Ross: but...

Laura: no! look I had something for you but now it's gone

Ross: no it's not, I know it!

Laura: please don't make this any harder then it's suppose to be

I couldn't help it, I kissed her, and damn it felt good, Laura kissed back but then pulled back, she just stood there

Ross: tell me you didn't feel anything

Laura: I have to go, I'm going to be late

I watched as Laura walked away, I know kissing your girlfriends best friend isint right, but I can't help myself, I sighed and walked back inside

Rydel: where's the stuff you were gonna get?

Ross: oh, I didn't find it, I think I did bring the bags in maybe their in my room

I ran upstairs and laid down in my bed looking at the ceiling, I smiled. Then Maia walked in

Maia: hey

Ross: oh hey

Maia closed the door and laid down next to me

Maia's pov

I laid down next to Ross, and sniffed his oder, god I missed it.

Ross: Maia

Maia: yeah

Ross: what's going on between you and Rocky?

Oh no!
