Laura's pov

Vanessa and I got to the mall, we went to every single store! We did a lot of shopping, then we got our nails done and then we went to the food court to eat, we decided on some McDonald's, we picked our table and sat down

Vanessa: So, how do you think Riker is going to ask you out?

Laura: what? he's not gonna ask me out

Vanessa: yes he is! he likes you!

Laura: but what if I dont?

Vanessa: you don't like him?

Laura: I don't know

Vanessa: what if he asks you out, what will you do?

Laura: panic?

Vanessa: Laura....

Laura: I don't know, but he's not going to

Vanessa: mmmm......

-The lynchs-

Maia's pov

Rocky stood there silent, god he better not say it, or I swear I will not forgive him for this

Ross: what do you want to tell us rocky?

Rocky: that...

Rocky looked at me nervously, I just looked at him worried, he turned back around

Rydel: what's wrong?

Rocky: if there's any Mac and cheese

Rydel looked at Rocky weird

Rydel: yeah I bought some yesterday

I sighed in relief and sat back down with Ross, I looked at Rocky and he was looking at the ground, thank god he didn't say anything

-Laura and Vanesaa-

I looked at Vanessa and shrugged then my phone rang

Laura: hello? Oh hey, today?....ok what time?......k I'll be there...umm ok?...bye

Vanessa: who was that, was it Riker?

Laura: very funny, it was Rydel

Vanessa: what's up?

Laura: she wants me to go over to the house today at 5 and she wants me to bring you over

Vanessa: weird

Laura: I know right, they don't invite me, I just show up

Vanessa laughed. We finished eating and then went back home, I took a shower and out on some mini shorts with a denim light washed button up shirt with some black flats and my hair in a pony tail. Vanessa and I got in the car and drove to the lynchs house it was 5:20 we knocked on the door and Rydel opened it

Laura: hey, what's up?

Rydel: you'll see

Laura: um, ok?

Vanessa: hey Rydel

Rydel: hey Nessa

We walked in and sat down in the living room

Laura: so why did you call us over?

Rydel held up a finger

Rydel: guys!! they're here!!

Vanessa looked at me strangely

Laura: why do you need the guys?

Rydel shrugged, ok this is getting kinda weird. The guys walked downstairs and sat down

Laura: -nervously laughs- ok guys, what's going on?

Vanessa: yeah this is getting weird

Riker sighed and got up

Riker: this was all me, I decided to invite you over

Laura: why?

Riker: because......I have something important to tell you

I looked and Vanessa and she looked at me happy

Riker: it's been a while now, a long one and I finally got the guts to say it

Riker pulled out something from his pocket and kneeled down on his knees

Riker: I was wondering.....

Riker opened a small box and I gasped

Laura: oh god...

Riker: I'm not proposing!....I was wondering if you would go out with me, this is a promise ring... I promise to make you happy, make you laughs even in your bad days il be there for you no matter what, I'll be the one that you can come to for help or anything... so will you go out with me

Laura: I-I don't know what to say

Riker: a simple yes will do

I looked at Vanessa and she gave me a exciting look, I sighed and got up

Laura: I'm sorry Riker, I... Let me think about it...

I ran outside and ran home because Vanessa had the keys. I can't believe it Vanessa was right Riker was going to ask me out! and he got a promise ring!! oh god I think I'm going to be sick. I tried to open the door but I remembered Vanessa had the keys, I bend down and got a key from under our little flower pot, I walked in and ran to the bathroom right away I started throwing up

Laura: ohhh....

I sat down in the floor then quickly got up and rinse my mouth, i walked to my room and closed the door, then I heard someone open the front door, then closed it

Vanessa: Laura!!

It was Vanessa, great

Vanessa: Laura!!!

I didn't bother in answering, I didn't want to see anyone right now, she walled in my room and sighed

Laura: go away

Vanessa: I can't, I'm your big sister I'm suppose to help you

Laura: you can help by going away!

Vanessa: I'm not going away! what happened back there?....why didn't you say yes?

Laura: I-I don't know

Vanessa: do you like Riker?

Laura: I don't know!

Vanessa: that bad, hu?

Laura: I threw up... So yeah it's that bad

Vanessa sighed and sat down next to me, and hugged me

Rikers pov

Was that a no?..... god was the promise right to much? I don't even now if she likes me back!! what am I going to do now?

Rydel: I'm sorry Riker

Riker: yeah...me too

Rocky: but she didn't say no

Riker: yeah, but she didn't say yes either

I sighed, Rydel sat next to me and hugged me, I just looked down at the ring

Riker: was it to much? the promise ring?

Rydel: I thought it was romantic

Riker: yeah...

Rocky: it's going to be alright, dorm worry about it...she'll come around

Riker: I don't think she will

Rocky: stop thinking negative! you have to have confidence, think positive!

Riker: yeah, I guess

I got up and walked to my room, i closed and locked the door and sat down in my bed..... is it a yes or a no?
