Marinette's pov:
And..
I felt someone grab me back as Alya swung at me. I turned my head to see Nathaniel. Juleka and him brought me back to my feet. I was surprised about how they all knew what was going to happen
"Next time you guys are talking about the things you guys will do to Mari make sure we're not around because we won't allow it." Juleka said,
"come Mari we're going yours like we planned." Chloe said to me death glaring Alya as we walked off.
As we walked into the bakery me and Chloe were talking when Nino immediately started begging me for free food, I chuckled
"mamman, papa I'm home, can we get some pastries to eat upstairs?" They both turned to me with a smile
"ah Marinette your back sure I'm going to get some for you." My dad said as my mom started speaking
"yes you go do that, kids how was school is everything ok there?"
We all looked at eachother and back at my mom
"no not really mrs, they tried to hit Mari again, if we didn't overhear them they would have succeeded." Nathaniel said standing behind me really serious.
"But don't worry mom, they saved me." I said taking the pastries from my dad
"thanks dad." I said with a smile on my face while all five of us went upstairs.
(Still Mari's pov)
2 hours later.
"OMG MARI I FOUND SOMETHING FOR YOU!!!!" Chloe started shouting,
We were looking for a new school for me so these incidents won't happen again.
"What did you find bee?" Nino said curious, and yes bee is Chloe's nickname. They don't know I'm ladybug but everyone knows who
queen bee is.
"The best private school in all of Parissss!!!"
Chloe said
"WHAT?! private school? Chloe you know I can't afford that!" I said
"Oh common they don't accept scholarships usually but there are times they do," Chloe said rolling her eyes
"Nette that is perfect for you, they won't be able to pay or get in into that school, they won't know where you even are." Nathaniel said causing Juleka to nod in agreement
"I think you guys forgot about Adrien's fortunes existence." I looked at them laughing.
"Ha ha ha very funny dudette, they won't know where you are, we won't say anything." Nino said.
"I'm signing you up." Chloe said
"No, we don't have the money," I said
"Listen to me Mari, I'm signing you up for a scholarship." Chloe finished
"Is that actually possible?" I said.
"Yes it is Mari, I doubt you won't get it," Juleka said
"Thanks Juleka." I answered
"Anyway we'll get going isn't it guys," Chloe said looking at them weirdly. I gave her a strange look as she opened her eyes wide and tried to signal with her head to come.
"Ah yess I just remembered I need to help uhhh my mom,"
"Righttt.. I need to throw out my uh old dj set,"
"I need to buy a new notebook and uh markers. Right markers.."
all of them made the worst excuses not even knowing I'm the master of them
"Yup sorry Mari we all gotta go, bye nette" Chloe said being the weirdest I've ever seen her.
"Yeah bye."
"Byeee,"
"See yaaaa."
And they all left.
My kwami flew out of her hiding spot "well
that was weird" she said
"But you know what's weirder, the fact shadow moth hasn't attacked in like 2 weeks now," I answered her
"That's true anyway you need some sleep so. GO."
I laughed heading to my bed and fell asleep not long after.
