Marinette's pov
As Allegra and Claude dropped me of home I vaguely told them why Agreste was holding me.
Let's just say they were shocked.
Claude started talking about homework from their school and in that moment I totally forgot that I'm changing schools in literally two days
"Hey shortcake," Claude said as me and Allegra turned to him
"How's shortcake?" Allegra said
"No not you legs" he rolled his eyes
"Legs? That's a fun nickname," I giggled
"Yup but your shortcake!" He said
"Why shortcake tho?" Allegra asked
"She's short and she's nice kind and sweet.
What else is sweet? CAKE! So it's shortcake." Claude started explaining as me and Allegra laughed to eachother
"Anyway this is my house so I'll get inside and put some ice on this," I said reaching the bakery.
"YOU LIVE IN A BAKERY?!?!?" Claude was beyond excited about that fact
"Mhm it's my parents bakery, see that little balcony?" I said pointing up "that's my room." I finished
"Wowwww that so cool" Claude said laughing at Allegra's face, she zoned out.
"Anywayyy we need to get going. Homework is waiting Claude." She said as Claude let out a cry
"NOOOOOOO!" He cried like a baby, I actually think he was close to tears.
"We'll get going. Bye mari!!" Allegra said
"Bye guys!"
I said walking into the bakery and I sadly saw Agreste and Rossi with my parents
"And- and then she- she got someone to hit hi- him for no- no reason." Lie la spoke
"My Marinette wouldn't do that." My dad spoke with my mom nodding in agreement
"What's she lying about this time." I said sighing
"See the blood on his face, I was so scared for him." Liar spoke
"See my wrist I was so scared when he grabbed it and assaulted me, his grip kept tightening, I was so scared for myself!" I said in a voice similar to hers to mess with her
"I knew my daughter would never do that." My mom spoke
"And it's also not my fault a real man stepped into the situation to get me away from this freak." I finished and started heading upstairs
The last thing I heard was
"Get out of my bakery right this second." Said by my dad in an angry voice.
I got up to my room and fell on my bed so tired of this day as I groaned in pain.
"Hey it isn't so bad after all. Atleast you made new friends right?" Tikki said flying out of my bag
"Yeah I guess" I answered falling asleep.
Tomorrow is going to be an even longer day.
