Promise

The week went by pretty quickly,
Nothing really happened in any of the schools.
Marinette and others had fun in their classes,
Max started hanging out with Nino and the others as he didn't want to hang out with his old friends anymore

Everything was going pretty smoothly,

But Lila.

She hasn't been in for days,

No one knows why and her sheep are worried about her,

Yet other people are worried for a different reason.

"What if she's gonna try to get in to hurt Mari?" Chloe looked up at her friends and max

Chloe had trouble trusting max again but she knew he meant good now,

"I don't know but we are seeing her tomorrow. We can warn her about Lila." Nino looked around

"But guys. You all can see what Lila can do. What if she makes someone else do something to Marinette?" Max looked up at them

"She wants to hurt her. Even if she was paid to let someone else do it she wouldn't let it be like that. Marinette is her enemy and she wants to destroy her, not have someone else do it." Nathaniel stated looking at the people on other tables to see if anyone's listening.

"True. Let's just wait for tomorrow. Let's hope there's no more surprises from her," Chloe rolled her eyes

"Imagine she has a boyfriend now!" Juleka laughed as others did too

"That would be too much for me to handle." Chloe calmed herself down

Well the day ended pretty quickly and the next school day was also as boring as always but not for all..

"Oh no.." Sophia looked down as she was walking beside Allan behind Claude and Allegra and infront of Marinette and Felix

"What's up soph?" Mari put a hand on her shoulder

"Max." She simply stated

You see, max, popular school bully, constantly bullied Sophia for having a prosthetic, usually he'd damage it as no one was there to save her but this time it was different.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here, miss iron leg." Max looked around snickering with his friends

"What do you want max." Mari stepped up infront of her leaving Felix behind.

"Oh and miss perfect beauty new student." Max bowed down like she was a queen.

Marinette's face filled with disgust.

"First of all you don't get to talk to her like that second of all touch a finger of any of these girls and I can promise you you'll be dead before you could process what's happening." Felix grabbed his arm squeezing it harder with the passing seconds.

Marinette realising what's happening put her hands on Felix's arms trying to calm him down so nothing bad will happen.

"Oh common Marinette. Do you want to be with this aggressive son of a bit**? He's just like his father. He will eventually hurt you you know." Max smirked.

Marinette saw what he is trying to do yet Felix didn't try to say anything. She knew deep down that these words got to his and she couldn't let more of that happen

"You see max. One thing Felix has that you don't is respect. And your little pet names are as horrible as calling me an Agreste so please kindly fuc* off and don't you dare try to touch Sophia. Got it?" Marinette smirked as his smug smile faded

She grabbed Felix's hand and the group started to walk off but then

"And you'll pay for the things you've done before." Allan turned back at him.

As the group started to walk off a sudden rage appeared in maxs eyes.

He stormed up to the group and grabbed Marinette by her free hand.

Felix's eyes filled with worry as her hand slipped out of his.

The group turned as a sudden scream occurred right behind them.

They turned to see max holding Marinette's hand and her waist at the same time.

"I swear to god you'll regret it if you don't let her go now." Felix looked him dead in the eyes

"Or what. Is our little Felix going to turn into his father and hurt mee." Max said sarcastically.

Allan immediately stormed up to him trying to take Marinette away

"I wouldn't if I were you." Max said holding Marinette tighter

"Hands off her. Now." Felix walked up and whispered in his ear grabbing Marinette's hand.

As fear spread all over Maxs body his tight grip on the girl loosened and Felix grabbed her towards him

"And this is your last warning max." Claude said looking at him while having the other two girls behind him

"Touch them again. And you'll regret it." Allan stared at him.

"Don't mess with them again." Felix sighed as the held a shaking girl in his arms.

"Sure daddy's boy." Max smirked at Felix walking off

Felix rolled his eyes that were full of rage.

"Hey.. you ok?" He looked down at the shaky girl

"Yeah.." she nodded.

"So glad class is over let's get back to our dorms. I really can't be asked seeing no more of these annoying faces today." Allegra sighed

Yet Claude looked at her worried as they kept walking
"You alright? Your quite quiet today.." he said quietly

"Yeah just a lot on my mind. Family. Business. All that stuff." She looked exhausted.

"You gotta get some rest when we get back ok?" He looked at her bending down to make eye contact

She nodded

"Promise?" He stuck out his pinky

She laughed connecting her pinky with his.
"Promise."
