ELIZABETH CRINGED AWAY from the bright light that had woken her up. She groaned placing a pillow over her head.
"Good morning to you too." Zach's sleepy voice said from beside her. He laid on his side with his elbow holding him up.
After trying to go back to sleep and failing, she took the pillow off of her head and sat up against the headboard. "Good morning, Z-man."
That's the nickname he had earned over time. When they had that chat about him being the "man". It kind of just stuck and it made him feel nice that they were close enough for nicknames.
From Ella and Ty's bed, Ella muttered. "Why do you have to snore?"
"I didn't think I snored." He yawned. "I sleep on the floor next time."
His eyes found Elizabeth's making her smile and wave at him. She stood up and made a beeline for their bed. Jumping in between Ella and Ty.
"My two favorite people." She sighed happily with her head leaning on Ty's shoulder. His head falling on top of hers.
The door opened revealing Sammy. He tiredly walked into the room. "Morning."
