San

I thought I'd feel a lot more anxious than I was. The thought of Wooyoung taking me up on my offer and laying in bed with me should've been enough to give me a heart attack, but instead I just decided it was a better bet to try and go to sleep. Maybe to save myself from the disappointment.

And I think that was true because when I heard my door open, I couldn't help but be surprised. "San...are you awake?" He whispered in the darkness.

I pulled the covers to the side, giving him the opportunity to get in.  "Just get in bed, Woo."

I could practically hear the gears in his head turning as he thought it through, but then there were soft sound of his feet padding on the floor, and I felt the mattress shift as he got in next to me.

I threw the covers over him, wrapping my arm around his waist and pulling him in.

I could feel his heartbeat pounding and his breathing become uneven despite him not making a move to change our position.

"Go to sleep, Woo." I breathed, my face right next to the crook of his neck.

I hadn't lied about the struggle of going to sleep without holding something. When I was younger it used to be plushies until I was deemed too old for them. Then it was pillows but that only helped a little. But this...this was comfortable. This was nice.

"It's still too soft." He muttered under his breath and I couldn't help but smile, as I tugged him closer.

"Stop complaining." I said and I decided I was comfortable enough to finally go to sleep.

Wooyoung was still asleep when I got up, I had to carefully climb over him to get out of bed, trying without waking him up. It was pretty clear he was a deep sleeper, even when I almost fell on top of him, he barely stirred.

I decided to let him sleep, not knowing if he had any classes or anything he needed to go to. I quietly padded down the stairs to make coffee only to meet Jongho already with his own. "Did Wooyoung decide to sleep in the guest room?" He asked when he saw me.

I wouldn't lie to him. "No, he slept in my room."

Jongho opened his mouth to say something but I beat him to it. "I know. God, you and Seonghwa are exactly the same. Nothing happened, Jongho. If something happens, I'll tell you guys. How about that? Until then, just assume nothing has happened."

He raised an eyebrow, putting down his mug. "Actually, I was going to say that I was happy he didn't sleep on the couch, but okay."

"Oh...sorry."

"No, don't apologize. It is my fault." He looked at me, reading my expression and sighed. "I think it's about time we get rid of the rule."

I stared at him, feeling like I made up the whole situation. Was this a dream? I hadn't even had my coffee yet, of course this was a dream. This whole thing was probably a dream. Hell, Wooyoung was probably actually sleeping on the couch.

Jongho snapped his fingers in front of my face, stealing my attention back to him. "Earth to San. I just told you I'd be willing to get rid of the rule and you zone out on me?"
