It's actually been a while since me and Douma san are friends. I had to tell everyone that me and Douma san are friends since there are some people who think we are a couple. "Douma san? I thought you student councils have a lot of work? How come you are waiting for me again?" You asked curiously as he smiled. "Eh? There is nothing wrong with waiting for my friends, right? so , I am more than happy to wait for you every morning!" He exclaimed happily as he pulled you in a hug. "Oh, that's really nice of you, Douma san but I don't want to hold you back from your duties since I could tell being a council member is hard." You asked worriedly as he just chuckled at that. "Don't worry, Y/n chan! I can balance both! Those duties can wait until later since you are more important than them!" You sighed and nodded at what he said. "Oh, if you say so, Douma san, I'll respect your decisions. So, do you want to go to class right now?" You asked him as he agreed. "Sure! I mean, class is starting soon! We don't want the teacher to go crazy, don't we?" You cracked a smile as he noticed that and always gave you a warm smile. "I love that smile...please keep that smile up, it's really beautiful." Your eyes widened as you blushed slightly. "I-I should get going, Douma san...nice talking to you." You waved goodbye to him as he did too.
Walking in the halls ways (Y/n POV)
I can't believe I smiled after a long time since it's been so long since I last did that but either way, it feels good to feel a little happiness in my heart. *Sigh* If only I was not afraid to love again, I would probably be Douma san's girlfriend by now...but instead, I wasted my chance and rejected him because I'm so afraid that Douma san will turn out like my ex boyfriend. I feel like Douma san is a good person and will take care of me but my idiot self just does not trust him that much. I was just talking to myself but as I was doing that, I bumped into someone.
"Hey! Can you watch where you're going?! Do you have eyes or are you just plain blind?!"
You gulped and looked up at it was Hakuji, one of the student councils. He looked surprised that it was a girl and immediately realized his mistake. "Y/n?! Is that you?! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you! I thought you were a boy since your hood is up! I'm terribly sorry!" He looked sad as you just told him it's okay. "Actually, Y/n? You're actually late for your class. I'm sorry but just because you're a girl does not mean I'll let you be late since I don't want the teacher to yell at you so, run along."
