DISCOVERY

Waking up the next morning was a very big problem cause I just had the weirdest dream where a strange voice was speaking to saying that I must know the truth and I must not delay any more to find it now I have come of age.

The truth about what and find what well my questions would have to wait until mom and dad gets back by weekend

I got up lazily from from bed, brushed my teeth and entered the bathroom with a towel wrapping my body when I discovered should I say a mark around my shoulder region

"What is this and how did It get to be on my shoulder cause I know this wasn't here"

I took my bath quickly and dressed up as fast as I could and rushed downstairs to show Amber the mark

"ouch amber,  look where you're stepping " I scolded

"Sorry Rina,  I was rushing to show you this I just discovered on my back " she said as she turned to show me the mark

WHAT,  the mark looked exactly like mine apart from the direction it was facing,  it was facing downward  while mine faced upward

"Amber look, l have the same mark on my shoulder " I bent my neck slightly  to show  her

"Rina, I'm  really confused but this would have to wait till mom and dad gets back

She used the exact words I used

"Let's go,  we are late already "I said moving towards the door

"You're not gonna eat"she asked

"I'll grab  something on the way " I said still moving away

We arrived at school a bit late but still made it pass the gate and into the drive  way.

We both got down and at that  moment  I felt someone was looking at me only to raise my head and see Williams looking at me.  My heart skipped a bit

"Amber, let's go" I said to her and we both walked pass William and that was  when I saw Linda beside him

Uuhh,  this guy disgusts me so much,  flirting with so different girls

I was kinda happy that Amber didn't utter a word of greeting to him like she would have done

First class was over already and everyone started heading  to the gym

"Um, do you have an extra hair pin to spare. I asked her

"No,  have you lost yours? "She asked

"Yeah,  I don't think I brought it with me cause I was in a rush this morning "

I was troubled cause it was mandatory that every longhaired ties their hair into a bun for gym

"Here, you can have this "a voice said handing a hair pin over to me

"Gee thanks "I collected it from the person but I didn't get the chance to see who it was as the person started walking away

"Well I guess William just helped you with a hair pin" Amber said with suppressed laughter

"Wait a minute, it was William who got me this hairpin,"I asked making it sound more of a questions  than a statement

"If I knew it was him I would not have collected it"I sighed within me

"Rina cut the crap he helped you and let's go"Amber said

My day went and everything else went normal except that on many occasions I would raise my head to find William staring at me,  sometimes I would return the stare other other times I would just look away.

"Rina you know it's  the worst of enemies that end up becoming best of friends "Amber said when I told her about William's stares

"Why do you hate him so much" she asked with deep concern

"I don't hate him and I don't like him. I hope that is enough answer already

She didn't ask further questions. She knew better than to do so

The week come to an end and  I was so glad mom and dad would be coming back cause I had lots of questions stored up for and most of them where concerning the mark amber and I had and the strange dreams I had been having and the same voice repeating the same thing every night

Mom and dad came back the next day, Saturday, a lady was with them and from the way  she was dressed, she didn't look like she came to visit, she had a big bag beside her, she looked like she had come to stay

"Mom, dad "Amber and I shouted as we ran to them and dad enclosed us in a tight hug while mom planted a kiss on our foreheads and for some strange reasons l felt she did that as some sort of farewell, I don't know if Amber felt that too

"How have  you girls been"dad asked

"We've been great just that we missed you"I responded as we helped them carry their bags and we moved inside

"Okay, Rina, Amber this lady over here is Lydia. Lydia this is Katherine and Amberle "dad demonstrate while doing the  introduction

"Hello girls, nice to meet you "Lydia said

Wait a minute, this lady's voice sounds exactly like the voice that keeps speaking to me in my dreams, I turned over to look at Amber and all I could see was shock written over her. She felt it too

"Nice to meet you too "I replied when I noticed Amber was too shocked to speak

Through out the day I avoided Lydia to the best I could;whenever I want to come downsairs and I see her walking up the stairs, I would change my direction and pretend to be going to the kitchen or some other place. I think Amber did the same cause the Amber I knew would've been around Lydia but she wasn't.

We didn't get the chance to speak to mom and dad about the mark neither did I get the chance to ask my numerous questions.

That night I slept peacefully, without any voice coming to say anything to me.

I woke up the next morning to sight something terrible when I looked at the mirror, the mark was now bigger than it was and was very itchy and the more I touched it the more it burned. The mark even seemed to be forming a figure.

I really need to tell mom and dad about this. I said to myself as I entered the bathroom
