The next morning, I woke up before everyone else and started packing my bags, getting myself ready to explore the cave.
"Katherine, where are you going" William asked while rubbing his eyes
"Um, I'm just going to take a stroll around and enjoy the view and maybe take some pictures". I said while waving my camera in front of him
'You're going to enjoy the view with all these bags packed. Where exactly are you going"he asked as he raised a brow at me
"I'm serious, I'm just going to take a stroll and enjoy the view. That is all. Nothing else I lied the more
"Okay then, if that is the case I will go with. You know I enjoy beautiful and lovely environments. This place, Malesdonia, it has everything it takes, you know"he smirked while nodding his head
"No, I don't think there is need for you to bother yourself, I can go alone"I said trying to leave the room
"Katherine Duboir, I insist "he said with so much authority and finality in his tone
I had to play along
"Okay, not a problem. If you insist. I said not sounding happy and not wanting him to suspect me in anyway
I had to change my plans for the day because of William. This guy is a thorn in my flesh. So, I made a change of plan. I would be going to the cave tomorrow. That was an easy decision to make cause we would be starting our leadership training the day after tomorrow. We were given a two-days rest so as yo enable us prepare our minds for what laid ahead, if not I would not have agreed William coming or following me thereby ruining my plans.
William and I went around, enjoying the environment of course. We took some pictures together, one of which was the one we took in front of suji with William holding his arms around me. Really what's with this guy, I mean he just suddenly, out of the blues, started showing concern towards me. I am one to talk, what's wrong with me as well. I am just falling head over heels for this guy. I vowed not to fall in love with any guy, but right now, I think I just failed my plans.
Later that evening, William and I came back to our room. I really enjoyed the my day.
"Thanks for today. I had a great day thanks to you"I said
"My pleasure"he grinned
That night something strange happened and it got me really confused. I woke up late that night to take some water cause I was feeling hot. When I got down I discovered William was sweating so much and it was as if he was having a nightmare because he seemed to be fighting someone. I got closer to his bed to wake him up and then I removed my hands the moment my hands touched him. He was burning up.
"I think he has a fever"I said to myself
"William, William"I called him but he didn't respond
I was about calling the medical personnel for help when something glowed in the room. It was the jewel he was putting on I once admired. Back then it was blue but right now it was glowing purple, you wouldn't even believe it was blue. At that moment, the glowing stopped and he jerked up violently from bed and was looking very terrifying
"William, are you okay"I asked with concern in my voice
"What did you see"he asked me, his face void of any emotion
"I didn't see anything "I lied
"Better "was his quick reply
That episode that night scared the hell out of me, so I decided to share it with Amber
