An:// This plot has been so fun to continue! I'm aiming to bring this story to an end in pt.4!
Sadly, all good things must come to an end!
But I definitely learned more about what my readers like to read!! Y'all eat up toxic scenarios for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!😂 but that's okay, so do I boo.

More toxicity to come✨

Following Doctor's orders, rest is all that I've done for the past few weeks.

Each day I lay in bed, feeling on my baby bump.
I feel for her strong kicks daily to let me know that she's doing alright.

Junior sticks underneath me all day long, like my shadow.. it's as if he's worried I will become ill again.

My sweet baby boy, probably traumatized from the sight of seeing his mother in a puddle of blood.

I worry for him constantly..

He needs to be back into preschool and other activities to keep his mind growing and occupied..

This move to a different state, the hospital incident, witnessing the arguments between his father and I.. it's enough to drive anyone mad.. especially a 4 year old child.

Today Junior and I take a short walk around our neighborhood, we stop and pick him up a Happy Meal to brighten that toothy smile of his.

I'd do anything to see his smile.

I also visit the cleaners on our way home..
I put in an order for dry cleaning over a week ago. I wanted to make sure the stains came out nicely out of my silk robe and Alexander's shirt that he lent me so I could return it to him.

I haven't seen much of my neighbor Alexander since the night he saved my life..

I think back to that night often.. I think back to how protective he got over me, wanting to speak to Evan about how my injury came about.

But I stopped him.. I had to.

That night they stared at each other with fire in their eyes.

If I hadn't taken advantage of the situation, all hell would've broken loose.

"A long talk?" Evan argued that night smelling the room up with booze from whatever cheep bar he crawled in from.
"And what's there to talk about, huh?
Maybe you impersonating me?
Telling the hospital Mariah and Junior are your family?
I bet you wish they were, don't you?"

"Evan!" I shouted, trying my best not to wake Junior.
"He had to say those things! The hospital wouldn't let him in unless he were family!
Look at you... you're embarrassing yourself!"

Alexander continued to stare Evan down.. he was fuming.

"Ry baby.." Evan whimpered drunkenly, coming over to the bed where he kissed Junior and I consistently.
"Baby what the hell happened, I was gone for only a drink!I'm sorry Mariah. I'm so fucking sorry."

"What happened?" Alex begun to chuckle.
"As if you don't know?"

"What the fuck did you just say to me?" Evan continued to engage in the argument.

"Alex!" I needed to put an immediate end to it.
"I appreciate all that you've done for me, I do.
But you need to leave, my fiancé is here now."

"Yeah that's right!" Evan egged on.
"Her fiancé! Jack ass."

"Mariah.." Alex nearly trembled wanting to speak with Evan terribly.

My worried eyes distracted him, begging him to let the night just end.
