I parked up and immediately got out not bothering to hide the car or even myself as I matched up his path
"Don't you think we should maybe be a little more discreet?" Mark suggested
"Discreet takes time. We are running out of it." I snapped back banging on his door as loud as I could and he quickly opened it
"Oh for- you guys again look I told you everything I know now" Nick snapped back
"Really, it slip your mind that you happened to purchase one extra large green fuel can and gas to fill it from Marcello's Filling station, which as you know sits across the street from the supermarket. On the very day that y/n went missing."
"I- I must have just forgotten" he stuttered
"Nick Benson, please get in the car quietly"
"what! Hell no you can't be serious! on what grounds"
"I am arresting you, as I believe you have a connection to the disappearance of Y/n Y/l/n."
He immediately bolted into his house but mark and I caught him before he even got out his back door and mark cuffed him starting to read him his rights
"I told you I didn't do anything!" He yelled now drawing out people from the other houses "I didn't kill her I swear! you have to believe me!" He screamed as mark forced him into the car
"Get a team down here I want every inch of that house searched for anything even the slightest hint of her"
"Yes sir"
"Throw him in the cells I'll deal with him in the morning, I'm gonna have a quick look around" I headed inside not going to in detail just looking in each room checking for signs of her but nothing I headed down to the basement but found it empty but a few boxes and an old washer, I was about ready to head back when I arrived to the bedroom and saw hung on the door of his wardrobe was a blue dress with white flowers I checked the label her size and it even had her name on the label I quickly bagged it as evidence and headed out to the car "Recognize this?" I asked holding the bag to the window
"Ohh come on- No! No look I have a reason, it's not what it looks like!"
"Get him to the station" I snapped
