    The famous FazBear Pizza Plex. The largest company with the biggest percentage of Ai bots for its staff. It should have been the greatest success of the age for technology and public service and entertainment. But of course, it had to be another damn Freddy FazBear location. The FazBear name was cursed for decades, so it was only a matter of time before this “unsinkable ship” crashed and burned. Literally.

   The head of night time security turned out to be another psycho on the list of crazies that the FazBear company liked to attract. She hacked nearly every Ai in the building, making them act out from their original programming, and some turned violent. Luckily, she was caught before anyone died. (if you can believe that coming from a company who doesn’t want to look bad in the media.) Of course, everyone knows that there are still people missing who were never found after entering the pizza plex. Either as an employee or a customer.

   Still, Vanessa was caught and the company got busy cleaning the Ai of all the viruses she stuffed them with. Bonnie was repaired, and Monty, Chica, Roxy, and Mr Glamrock Freddy were all cleaned up for the grand reopening. (Oh ya, and the Daycare attendant too. Both of them.) But this was Freddy’s Pizza Plex. Cursed to always fail.
The whole mall was burnt down before it could reopen. And coincidentally, Vanessa had wanted posters all over the city after she escaped captivity. Perhaps an AI-run police force wasn’t such a good idea after all.

 
    You were practically running up and down getting orders out to the people waiting at their tables for food and drink. You were good at remembering what tray needed to go where but that didn’t make Friday night at a pub any easier.
   Luckily, it was Friday night, and you didn’t work the weekend shifts so as soon as the clock hit time, you finished surviving your last table and darted for the back room to leave your nametag and grab your bag.
   Just as you were leaving, your least favourite group of regular customers waltzed in already laughing loudly and acting like pricks. Apparently, this was your lucky night, as you managed to miss them.
   You left your coworkers to enjoy their time serving those asshats while you got to go home, fuck around on your phone until late, and not get sufficient sleep. But that’s what the weekend was for anyway. Catching up on your sleeping hours.

[go to sleep fuckers. Or I’ll get you. No moon for you.]

   You hopped on your bike and rode off. The wide open streets were full of bikes, eclectic or not. Some people walked on the foot paths and service Ai bots sped around doing their deliveries. Cars were a rarer thing to come across in your day in age.
   You remember being a kid wondering if you’ll ever get a self driving car of your own. Until the age of bikes took over, not including public transportation like the subway trains. Ai Bots were becoming more common every year, with their popularity skyrocketing during the time the Pizza Plex was still running, of course since it got out that one person could hack an entire mall's worth of Ai, their production significantly slowed.

   Only the filthy rich could afford them anyway, and big chain companies. No one had more Ai staff than the Pizza Plex though that was because the FazBear name always had direct partnership with Afton Robotics. The biggest Ai producing company in the world. Some say that place is cursed too. Funny.
   This was all common knowledge to the people in your city. Though who in the world didn’t hear about the initial success of Freddy’s Pizza Plex?

   You were feeling nostalgic. Or maybe something deep seeded was drawing you in? It was going to be getting late, but you couldn’t help yourself from taking the long route to get home, just to bike by the ruins of the old Pizza Plex.
   You’d only been there a few times. It was way overpriced for your salary but who could resist going even just once for that modern meets 1980s ambiance? Even without the nostalgia for the characters themselves, it was irresistible to go just once.

   Miraculously, the building still stood after being burnt down. Sorta.
   It collapsed, of course, but anyone could still go inside and do at least a little bit of exploring. You weren’t quite so brave, however. You couldn’t help but get the feeling that the building would fall on you the second you were two steps inside. That, or you’d find a homeless dude chilling out inside it.
   You thought it was probably time to go home by now. You took a shortcut off the main roads, hoping you wouldn’t just immediately hit a dead end until something caught your eye. Stopping your bike and carefully leaning over you found a ‘shiny’.

   Well, it was scuffed, but still shiny. It was a bell tied to a bright red ribbon, slightly burnt but mostly intact, and the bell still rang. You hopped off your bike and walked, somehow getting the feeling that you’d find something else for your arts and crafts collection if you looked.
   You saw another bell, more scuffed than the first but it wasn’t attached to a ribbon this time. The bell looked like it was one stitch away from falling off the end of a burnt orange slipper, and that curled slipper was attached to a large Ai Bot.
   You couldn’t help but jump as you made eye contact with the broken up jester-looking mascot. It took you a second to realize that it was completely shut down.
   Out of power maybe?

   Of course this was not just any mascot. This was one of the bots that was in the Pizza Plex. Broken down, damaged, and abandoned. You took a good look at his condition (Her condition?) and decided that the damage wasn’t so bad that you couldn’t fix them up a bit. Their outfit was tattered, and their paint was scratched and burned. You’d been looking for a new project to work on anyway.

   Now, how were you going to drag them home?
