You had your leftover dinner. Letting Moondrop cool off from the small argument you two had before. But if the Daycare Attendant was going to stay in your home, you'd have to get along eventually. Right?

You put your dish in the sink absentmindedly before heading to your craft room. Sunny may scold you for doing that later. Opening the door you saw Moon with his back turned, having already given up on painting himself. The brush lay beside him as he quietly sulked with his arms crossed, staring at the sky open through the window. You walked up to him quietly and took the paintbrush and paint. He avoided eye contact with you as you walked in front of him.

"Do you need help?" You asked softly, the dark room seemed to set a quiet and calming tone.

   "Yes..." He muttered begrudgingly.
   "Yes?..." You repeated, expecting something.
"Please..." He huffed in defeat as he turned to you finally and leaned back with his arms supporting him up.
"Thank you." You smiled in appreciation.

You got a bit of fresh paint on the brush and got to work fixing his lines, getting the places that you and Sunny hadn't gotten around to painting. The brush gently glided along his chest, you were sure to be extra careful along the more precise areas, going around the buttons on his front, and painting a line as straight as you could down the centre of his stomach to the rim of his pants that didn't fit. He watched you take care and precision on painting him, your face unusually close to his body as you focused your eyes as best you could in the dark room. You could hear his internal fan going off inside his system to keep his machinery cool. That's how close you were, and how quiet the room was.

"Leg up please." You said as you finished his chest and moved on to his legs. He pulled his legs up onto the desk so you wouldn't have to kneel down in front of him. You painted his bare legs up to his knees before stopping at the pant legs that got in the way. Moon seemed to let you roll up the pant legs higher so you could paint up his thigh. You could still hear his fan whirling as he watched you. After all, it had gotten louder as his wires heated, watching you delicately paint his body with the brush.

Once you were satisfied with the condition of his legs, you stood back up as he let his legs fall back down off the desk. You leaned into him as you examined his face before getting to work. Painting over the filled in scratches and holes that you'd previously done to his face plate. You noticed the paint turned pink on his cheeks as you circled them with the brush and outlined his nose. Your eyes fell onto his, staring back at you. The pink on his face looked more and more like a blush as you thought about it, and you were leaning into him very closely.

"Sorry-" You stepped back to give him some space. A dust of pink came across your face in return. "I, sorta, forgot that you're not my usual kind of art project..." You were so focused on painting him that you forgot to give him personal space. You painted his chest.

"Art project?" And now you'd called him an art project to his face. You covered your face with your hands as a bit of a forehead smack as well as hiding from your shame. Moon grinned at your embarrassment. That was when your phone made its notification ring inside him.

"Was that my phone?" You asked as you came out of hiding behind your hands.
   "No..." Moon lied.

"Can I see what that was?" you held your hand out.

"It was from your mobile game, telling you to play it." He told you what it was himself.

"That is not what I meant! Wait! Are you plugged into my phone?!" You yelped and silently hoped that neither he nor Sun went through your phone... for personal reasons.

"Yes, but I'm not allowed to do anything on it without your permission..."
   Thank fuck.

"Good! Can I have my phone?" You asked again.

   "No." He answered.

"Why not!? Give me my phone!" you yelled at him.

"Gimme gimme never gets?" He shrugged with his arms up and had a shit eating grin.

"You little shit!" you lunged at him with a yell, but he rolled like a ball over the other side of the desk from you.

"Language!" he growled back as his claws scratched the desk and his eyes narrowed at you.

"Your paint is still drying!" You sneered at him before trying to chase him around the desk placed in the middle of the craft room, giving you two plenty of room to play chase. "Why won't you give my phone back!?" you yelled as he jumped up on the desk and down the other side, he was rather nimble for someone who sounded like he weighed a ton based on the metallic thud he made when landing on the ground.

"What do you need it for?" He asked back, grinning at you in amusement. He was barely trying to get away, but you couldn't even get close.

"Playing that mobile game! I don't know!" You answered.

"Not good enough! Besides, it's bedtime, no video games." he was setting rules like he paid the bills.

"Says who?!" You yelled as he rolled out of the craft room.

"Says the robot who has your phone~" He stuck his tongue out at you, it was blue instead of Sun's yellow one. You weren't really sure why that was something worth noting in your head. Or at least, it shouldn't be anything worth noting. "You're more like Sunny than you pretend to be." You smirked at Moon as you continued chasing him.

Soon though you managed to lose him in your own home. He giggled as he got out of your sight for a second before seemingly turning invisible. Surely the paint wasn't that sophisticated was it?

"Where the shit did you go!?" you blurted out without thinking before you suddenly heard him behind you. He was too fast for you to turn to him before you were suddenly scooped into his arms as he cradled you in them.

"Language." He growled at you with a fierce scowl on his face. He carried you to your room against your wishes. It really wasn't that late in the evening.

"I can swear in my own home, and you can handle a bit of bad language!" You crossed your arms as he took you to bed, "We're not in a daycare!" Moon placed you down onto your bed and forcibly tucked you in, much like the first time you two met.

"Right..." He softened with the slightest bit of sadness in his expression. It made you regret being so blunt with him.

"Moon?" you called before he left. He waited for you to speak. "If you hate me so much, why don't you leave? Why bother staying with me now that your voice box is replaced?"

"We don't want to be outside again... It's too... Weird." He explained. They'd never been outside before. The openness of the sky was foreign for their sensors. It was scary. "And, we don't hate you." He admitted. Somehow that felt like progress as far as you could tell.

"We want new clothes. Please." With that, he left your room for you to sleep.

Unfortunately... you still needed to brush your teeth...
