Taylor
I turned around and froze. I could not believe that HE was in my house. Let alone that he was dating Stacey. Johnathan. He smirks "Hello Taylor, nice house ya got here" he says. I can't say anything because I am just frozen.
I don't move until I feel like my walls are closing in "Excuse me" I say and walk away fast. I walk past Joe and Sophie to the back porch and just take in the fresh air trying to calm myself down.
I hear Joe come outside "You alright babe? You look like you had seen a ghost?" he asks as Sophie walks in "Who the hell let him in?" she asks and I look at her "Stacey...he's dating her now" I say and Joe just looks so confused.
I take a deep breath before saying to him "Remember when I said I had a toxic ex? One who literally would get jealous when I would hang out with Sophie instead of him?" I ask and Joe nods then realizes "That's the guy Stacey came in with? Nope I will handle this" he says going to leave.
I just stop him "No, it's fine honestly he is her problem now so just let them stay but if they start anything they are leaving got it?" I say to him and he nods.
-During the Party-
Everyone was singing happy birthday making me so happy that I honestly forgot about my ex being here with Stacey. I smile once everyone finishes singing and then make a wish blowing out the candles.
Ja'Marr asks "Whatcha wish for Tay?" making me look at him "Well if I say it then it won't come true but honestly I don't really have to wish for anything, I have amazing friends who are always there for me, an amazing family who has supported me in every way" I start and then look at Joe who's next to me "And an even more amazing boyfriend who has been my number one supporter since I got here" I say making him smile wrapping an arm around me.
I smile and then continue to walk around and talk to people. I then excuse myself to go to the bathroom so I go to the one near mine and Joe's room knowing no one will be in there. Once I finish I walk out noticing my ex is in front of me "Oh hi Josh..." I say getting nervous. He smirks seeing me looking nervous "Hey Tay, god do I miss you" he says.
He then puts his hand on my cheek licking his lips. I try and back away but he has a tighter grip on me "You're not leaving" he says. My eyes widens and I then go to scream help but he covers my mouth.
Joe
I was talking with some teammates when I notice Taylor isn't around. I look at everyone and then see Stacey is alone. I instantly start to panic and walk around. I walk up to Sophie "Have you seen Tay?" I ask and she looks at me shaking her head "Last I seen she went up to the bathroom" she says.
I nod and run up to our bathroom seeing her ex with his hand on her and her freaking out. She then sees me and all I can see is pure fear in her eyes "What the hell are you doing?" I ask making him look at me dropping her. She runs away and into me holding me. I can feel her shaking and look at him "She tried coming onto me" he says as Stacey comes up and sees what's going on "What the hell? Let me guess Taylor couldn't keep her hands to herself?" she asks.
My head snaps to her "Are you kidding?? Your boyfriend had his hands on HER! You know what you both can leave before I call the cops understand?" I say getting angry. Stacey turns her head to me "No Joe come on it was just a joke" she says. Thats when I lose it "It was not just a joke! She is shaking in fear right now! So both of you are to leave my house NOW" I snap.
They both run out quickly. I wait till I hear the door shut and look down at her "You don't believe them do you?" she asks me. I shake my head no and hold her closer "Not at all, come on" I take her to our room and set her on the bed to calm down.
She takes deep breaths and looks at me "They are horrible people" she says and I nod kissing her head "I know babe I know" I say "Want to me to go get you water?" I ask and she shakes her head no. Clearly not wanting to be left alone.
I sigh and just lay down with her and hold her.
