Taehyung: "Y-you killed someone?"

The moment he asked the question, the room fell into a pin drop of silence. V and Y/n glanced at Taehyung, their eyes widened in realisation.

They stood straight.

V: "H-hyung? Kill? I guess you heard something wrong.."
He laughed awkwardly.

Y/n: "U-um yes! We didn't say something like that"

Taehyung had his frown as he eyed the duo suspiciously, his eyes couldn't ignore the fact that they were nervous.

Taehyung: "I-I heard it right. You said about a girl named Ivy.."

V and Y/n panicked as they glanced at each other.

Y/n: "W-who is Ivy?"

Taehyung's expression didn't faze.
"A few days ago, Ivy stopped coming to school. I don't know who she is, but I knew it when the professor asked me to mark present students."

Y/n gulped, prickles of sweat formed on her forehead.

V: "Hyung--"

Taehyung: "There's something wrong. There was no reason for her absence."

Y/n: "L-listen to me Tae.."
She whispered softly. Taehyung backed off.

Taehyung: "Tell me the truth now."

V: "Tae--"

Taehyung: "TELL ME RIGHT NOW!"
He said breathing heavily. V and Y/n looked at each other, both were equally scared.

V sighed out heavily, head hung low.
"You heard it right."

Y/n pursed her lips, eyes shut.

Taehyung gasped.
"Y-you killed her..?"

He said eyeing his brother. V was about to say yes when Y/n interrupted.

Y/n: "I did."

Taehyung whipped his head towards Y/n. He couldn't believe it.

Taehyung: "You-- you're lying, aren't you?"
He stammered, heart beats racing both in nervousness and anxiety.

Y/n: "No. I did"

V: "Don't take the blame, Y/n! I was equally involved Hyung."
He confessed. Taehyung clenched his fist, his palms sweating.

Taehyung: "Why?"
Was all he could mutter in his quiet voice.

Y/n licked her lips nervously and started.
"B-because, the one w-who wrote letters to you was-- was her."

Taehyung gasped again. He didn't know how many shocks he was getting, he was glad that he didn't pass out.

V: "And the one who used to bully Y/n was also her.."
Taehyung threaded his fingers in his hair, eyebrows frowned.

Y/n: "I-I didn't want to lose you, since I loved you so much so-- so I decided to spy on her and one fine day.."

Taehyung: "Y-you killed her.."
Y/n gave a timid nod.

V: "I went to the same place, to-- to kill her but I met Y/n there and I saved her.."
Taehyung's throat tightened yet he managed to speak up.

Taehyung: "Is it the same day, w-where you said you're going to your friend's house and came injured the next day?"

V nodded shamefully. He couldn't face his brother nor Y/n could.

Taehyung: "You-- you both betrayed me?"
Y/n teared up.

Y/n: "N-no Taehyungie.. I--"
She moved forward to touch him but Taehyung backed shouting.
