Sasaki Haise - Appreciated

"(L/N)? Can you work on this for me? I need to do something else." Mutsuki said to you as you were doing your own work. Being the nice person you are, you accepted.

"Of course Mustuki!" You replied. He gave you a smile and you gave one back. When Mustuki left, you slumped in your chair and groaned. 'Ugh, now I have more work to do.' Sasaki noticed your groan and he popped up from no where.

"Something wrong (F/N)?" Your caring boyfriend asked you. You turned to him and frowned.

"I agreed to do Mutsuki's work. Now I have even more work to do." You threw your hands on your forehead and massaged it.

"Why didn't you just decline?" Sasaki asked you.

"I can't! I'm too nice! I want everybody to think of me as a nice person!" You exclaimed "I'm going to get some coffee." You stood up and started to walk toward the coffee machine. Sasaki followed you.

You were getting your coffee stuff ready when Akira called to you. "(L/N)? Can you make me some coffee?" She was working at her desk away from the coffee machine.

"Sure thing!" You replied. You quickly made her some coffee then you walked over and gave it to her. Instead of making yourself coffee you walked back to your desk. "Ugh, I wanted coffee."

"Why did you make Akira-San some then?" Sasaki asked you.

"I wanted to be nice! I can't say no to her!" You replied as you continued to work on your work so you could finish Mutsuki's.

"Did you want me to make you some?" Sasaki asked. You smiled at him but you shook our head.

"I don't want you to do that for me. That's too much work." You said.

"(F/N), your being to nice to people. You do what everybody asks and you don't accept anything when they would do it for you." Sasaki told you. "Say 'no' sometimes."

"Haise, I can't. It's not that easy for me. I feel like if I say no, they'll hate me. I don't like being hated.." You told him as you looked down at your feet. Sasaki frowned at you, he walked over to you and you looked up at him. Sasaki quickly leaned down and gave you a kiss on the lips.

"It looked like you needed a kiss." He gave you the adorable and loving smile and you blushed. You hid your face in your hands and Sasaki let out a cute laugh. "Don't work yourself too hard."

"I won't."

Days go by and you found yourself more stressed, more tired, and more depressed. You constantly got asked to do your fellow member's works, do errands for people, and you barely had time for your on work.

Mutsuki came up to you one day and you smiled at him. "Hey. What's up?" You greeted him, trying to be nice.

"The paper you turned in for me wasn't that good. Try harder next time." He said before he walked away. You just smiled it off but you were so hurt on the inside.

Another time, Sasaki and you were joking around with each other and Akira saw. She walked up to the two of you, "(F/N), now is not the time to be playing around. If you want to play around I suggest you leave." Everybody was watching you and your face turned red immediately from embarrassment.

"I'm sorry Akira-San." You told her with your head hung low. When she left you tried to focus on your work but you couldn't.

"(F/N), did you want to play with me?" Shirazu joked. You just laughed it off wi him but in the inside, you were extremely embarrassed and you wanted to cry.

At night, you lie on you bed crying as soft as you can at night, hoping nobody would hear you. You heard a knock at your door and you quickly wiped your tears and pretended to sleep. The door to your bedroom carefully opened and you felt your bed shift, they were sitting on your bed.

You tired your best to act like your were sleeping but slowly tears were streaming down your face. Your eyes shot open when you felt a hand wipe your tears away. It was your boyfriend Haise.

"I knew you weren't sleeping (F/N)." He told you. You sat up and tears started streaming down your face faster. You started bawling and Sasaki gave you a hug. "What's up? Why are you crying." He said as he rubbed your back.

"I'm tired of being nice Haise. A-All I do is for nothing. I try to do things for o-other people but I just feel like I'm not a-appreciated. I don't want to be here any more H-Haise." I stuttered out.

"Don't think like that (F/N). What I've seen is different. People admire you, they are glad to have you, not just because you offer to do stuff for people but because you make them happy. If they are having a bad day, you always notice so you would go give them a hug or say 'good morning, how are you feeling?' to them. Your an amazing person." Sasaki said to you.

You blushed 'Sasaki notices what I do?' What he said made me feel better. I sat myself next to him and I put my head on his shoulder.

"Thanks Haise, that made me feel better." you said truthfully.

The next day you were just working like usual and when you turned left you were greeted with flowers and gifts from the whole Quinx squad. Your eyes widened.

"What's all this?" You asked them.

"We want to thank you for everything you've done for us." Mustuki said.

"Yeah, this was part of Sassan's plan too!"

You turned your head toward Sasaki and smiled at him. You gathered all of the gifts and placed them on your desk. 'Maybe the niceness did payoff.' You stood up and gave the squad a big hug.

"Thanks you guys! I feel so special!" You said happily. They all smiled at you then they all went to do their work. You smiled at all the nice gifts you got and you turned to Sasaki and gave him a big hug.

"Haise, I'm happy." You told him.

"I'll do anything to keep you happy."
