Haise x Pregnant!Reader - Worries

Seeing your significant other sleeping so contentedly next to you was a great thing to when you wake up. Haise's arms were wrapped around your waist as you sat up and rubbed your eyes, processing everything that was happening.

"Are you already awake?" Haise's husky morning voice asked as you looked down to meet his breathtaking grey hues. "Good morning~"

Chuckling at his half awake-half asleep state, you leaned down and kissed his forehead. "Good morning." Haise smiled and placed his head on your lap as he was facing your stomach, a smile still etched onto his face.

You brought your hands up to his hair and ran your fingers through his smooth multi-colored hair, calming yourself and Haise down. Haise looked up at you and noticed that you had been staring straight for a couple minutes.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm..I don't..." Covering your mouth, you pushed Haise's head to the side before rushing into the bathroom and throwing up into the toilet. Haise lied on the bed as he heard you retching from the bathroom.

Getting up, he kneeled down by your crouched figure and held your hair back, giving your back a rub. You turned and looked at him, your (Eye color) eyes striking into his. "Haise,"

"I'm pregnant."

"Oh my gosh, you're pregnant. You're pregnant!" Haise walked around the room saying the same sentence over and over again as you sat on the couch munching on your favorite bag of chips. "(F/N)!"

His sudden yell made you jump, spilling some chips onto your lap that you picked up and ate. "Yes Haise?"

"You're pregnant. We're going to have a baby." Haise stared at you and you nodded at the black and white haired male.

"Yes Haise. I am pregnant." Reaching into your bag to eat another chip, you looked at Haise again. "I've been pregnant for two weeks now. Why are you still in shock?"

"Th-this is my first child! What if it doesn't like me?! (F/N)! What if the baby doesn't like me?" You closed your eyes and sighed as Haise was in the back still in shock.

Opening your eyes back up, you placed the bag of chips on the coffee table and walked over to Haise, placing your hands on his shoulders. You tip-toed and kissed his lips before giving him a hug. "You'll be an amazing dad Haise. Don't worry okay?"

"Okay."

After the news of the two of you getting pregnant, multiple friends would show up at the door with nice baby gifts. The Quinx squad visited you quite often, the boys would talk to Haise about all this 'new daddy' stuff while you and Saiko enjoyed eating snacks at the kitchen table.

One night as Haise was getting ready to go to bed, he noticed that your belly bump was fairly large.

"(F/N)? Can you stand up here really quick?" Nodding, you got up and walked over to where Haise was and stood next to him. You watched as he walked around you, studying you a bit.

"Is everything alright?"

He stood back straight and looked at you. "I've just noticed that you're getting pretty big."

Your eyes widened as you stared at Haise. "What do you mean I'm getting big? I mean, I know I'm eating a lot, but that just cravings! I'm a pregnant woman, I needs food to feed me and my child! It's not like I'm trying to gain weight! I just-"

Haise kissed you on the lips and shook his head at you, giving you a sweet smile. "No, you're not getting fat. I'm just saying that our baby is growing quickly and I just noticed how big they already are."

Your pink lips curved into a smile and you rubbed your stomach. "Yeah, you're right."

"Haise, Haise, please help me." The said male turned around and held out both of his hands for you to grab, doing so, he helped you onto your feet as you let out a long breath. "Thank you honey, I can no longer do this alone anymore."

Haise smiled at you and kissed you on the forehead. "Anything for you. Isn't this almost the end of your third trimester?"

"Yeah, you're keeping up with this pregnancy stuff aren't you?" You joke as you took a bite into your chocolate bar. "Mmm, so yummy.."

"I'm getting so nervous now (F/N)...I've never had a baby before." Turning to look at your loved one, you noticed how he was so unsure about the baby liking him or not. Shaking your head, you took another bite of the chocolate.

"Haise, the baby will absolutely love you. Now come on, we have some shopping to do." Waddling over to your shoes you tried to bend down and grab them and put them on but your belly was in the way. "Umm, Haise?"

Chuckling, he walked over to you and helped put your shoes on for you. "You're so cute when you can't pick stuff up because of the baby in your way."

You blushed and pouted. "I'm trying here." After Haise finished, he stood back up and kissed your forehead, nodding. "I know, you're doing a great job (F/N)-chan."

The next week, you went into labor. Haise was a mess, he ran around the house grabbing the hospital bag and anything else you needed before helping you into the car. He drove a fast speed but carefully as you gripped on his hand, breathing slowly.

When he reached the hospital, Haise grabbed all the hospital essentials and helped you out of the car as you made it to the front desk. The nurses helped you onto a wheelchair and into your room where you waited for the doctors to allow you to push.

Haise watched in worry as you were breathing slowly and heavily. He could tell that you were in pain and he was upset that he couldn't do anything to help. He reached over and grabbed your hand, giving it a small squeeze.

"Hey, you're doing good okay! Don't worry! You'll be fine!" Haise pushed your hair back from your sweating face as he kissed your soft lips. He continued to hold your hand as you chuckled at him.

"You're just saying that to calm yourself down Haise. You're such a dork." The doctors and nurses came into the room and nodded at you, signalling that it was time to push. Your face brightened and you looked up at Haise who had a nervous look on his face.

"Here we go Haise."
