Kuro!Kaneki - Catch

Kaneki waited nervously at the airport for you. It had been a year since you left to go to (Country) and today you were finally coming back. He came to the airport an hour early, prepared with a small bouquet of (Favorite Flowers) for you, hid behind his back.

Glancing at the big TV screen, he saw that your flight had landed which added to his nervousness. He clutched the bouquet of flowers tighter as groups of people began to exit out of the doors and greeted their loved ones.

But where were you? His eyes darted from person to person as he tried to find your (Hair color) hair through the large crowd.

"Kaneki!"

Hearing his name being shout out by your beautiful voice, he immediately began to look around for you. But he just couldn't catch you.

"I'm over here!"

He cursed himself when he turned around but did not find you. Where were you? He jogged a few feet but again, did not see you. Walking back to the doors, he watched as they closed the gate. His eyebrows furrowed and his lips pursed.

He held the flowers downward in front of him as his head hung low. All he wanted was to see you, but he couldn't find you.

"I'm right here." A pair of arms wrapped themselves around Kaneki as he felt a body being pressed into his back. "I missed you."

His eyes saddened as his lips curved into a sad smile. Turning around, he came face to face with you. Your smile, amazing as always. Your (Eye Color) eyes shining light the moonlight. He enveloped you into a tight hug as he hid his face in your shoulder.

"I missed you so much." He mumbled as you smiled and hugged him back. He pulled away and set you down as he handed you the flowers which you joyfully accepted. "They're beautiful!"

"I knew you'd like them." He replied as he intertwined his hand with yours, walking to grab your luggage. "Come on, let's find my stuff so we can go home and cuddle on the bed!" You started running as Kaneki quickly followed you.

He didn't mind if people were watching, because he was already watching you.

The night ended with you wrapped around Kaneki's chest as his long arms wrapped around you. Nothing could make him happier than being with you.
