"Miss (L/N), this is the Tokyo Hospital (I made that up, ignore it lol). Are you somehow related to Kaneki Ken?"

"Y-Yes! I'm his girlfriend! Did something happen?!" You said loudly through the phone as you clutched your shirt.

"Kaneki-San has been in an accident. If you may, we are at Nagoya Street (made that up too), please come calm him down." The lady behind the phone asked. You hung up the phone and ran to get your jacket and you threw on some shoes and started running toward where Kaneki was.

"Kaneki?" You yelled as you approached the scene. Police and paramedics surrounded the area, but you ran into the crowd and kneeled beside Kaneki who was bleeding and mumbling stuff to himself.

"Hey, Kaneki? Are you okay? It's me (F/N)!" You held him in your arms and pushed his white hair back. "I'm here."

"KYAA!" You screamed when Kaneki jumped on you and pushed you to the ground. He pushed your shoulders down with his hands and stared at you with a scary look.

"WHAT'S 1000 MINUS 7?!" Kaneki screamed as you gave him a horrified look. Police ran and took him off you as nurses ran and held you up. You thanked them but walked over to where the police were holding Kaneki.

"Kaneki," You placed a hand on his his cheek and he calmed down. His breathing became even and he looked more calm. The police let him go and Kaneki stood there looking down on you.

"Kaneki do you fee-"

"Who are you?" Kaneki's words cut you off and it made your heart sink. Your eyes widened and you gave him a smile out of disbelief.

"What? Don't joke with me Kaneki. I'm (F/N) (L/N), your girlfriend if course." You replied as you had a sad smile on your face.

"I'm sorry, I don't know who you are."

"Stop joking with me right now Kaneki!" You screamed as you grabbed onto his arms. He gave you a face that almost looked sympathetic. His hands grabbed onto yours and he pulled your hand away from him.

"I'm really sorry, I don't know who you are." His voice was softer and genuine. You nodded and stepped away from him. Your head hung low as tears surfaced your eyes. Nurses came and took Kaneki to the hospitals as some police officers and nurses came to comfort you.

"We're sorry (L/N)-San." They replied as they gave you pats on the back. You shook your head at them and smiled.

"It's okay, I'll visit him in the hospital tomorrow."

"Thank you." You said to the nurse as she showed you wear Kaneki's room was at. You walked into his room and immediately, Kaneki's eyes focused on you. "G-good morning." You said as you sat down next to his bed.

"You're the girl from yesterday."

"Y-yeah," You awkwardly sat on the chair, not sure about what to do. "Umm, how are you feeling?"

"I'm better thanks."

"That's good." The awkwardness between the two of you was very high because you didn't know what to talk about. You had a bunch of stuff you wanted to say but you didn't want to be rude or make him feel uncomfortable.

"Yesterday, you said that you were my girlfriend?" Kaneki looked at you and you blushed and nodded.

"W-well, I was. I mean, you lost your memory so you don't remember me or the relationship you used to have. B-but it's okay! It's not your fault.."

"If you don't mind, can you tell me some stories about the relationship we used to have?" Kaneki had a small smile on his face while you blushes and placed a hand on your cheek.

"Sure."

Everyday, you visited Kaneki at the hospital and takes about your life and told him stories about Kaneki and you. He  always enjoyed the stories and he seemed to enjoy your presence everyday. One day, you went to visit Kaneki at the hospital but a nurse told you that he was discharged from the hospital this morning.

Walking back outside, you noticed white hair next to the hospital building and you walked closer to the person.

"Kaneki!"

"Hey (F/N)~" Kaneki gave you a smile and you hugged him out of nowhere. Taken back from the sudden gesture, it took him a while until he hugged you back.

"S-sorry! I didn't mean to! I usually gave you hugs whenever we go on dates or whenever I was happy.."

"So are we going on a date now?" Kaneki gave you a smirk and your face flushed.

"N-no! I was going to visit you in the hospital but the nurse told me you were discharged!"

"If you're not too busy, would you like to go on a date today?" Kaneki smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck with his hand.

"Th-That'd be lovely!"

"Alright, let's go to the coffee shop you told me about!" Kaneki took your hand and walked toward Anteiku with a smile on his face.

"You know where it is?"

"Somehow I remember it." As Kaneki was walking you to Anteiku, he turned his head to look at you and he noticed more beauty from you than he ever did. He loved how nice you were to him despite him losing his memories. He loved seeing your happy face everyday and he loved having you by his side.
