Sonic's heart pounded in his chest as Scourge, the green hedgehog who had just kissed him, wrapped his arms around him possessively. It had been a secret Sonic had kept from his friends for far too long, and he knew he couldn't reveal the truth now.

Scourge's eyes bore into Sonic's, a mix of affection and control evident in his gaze. Sonic couldn't help but feel trapped, unable to break free from the toxic relationship he had found himself in. Scourge had a way of making Sonic feel like he was the only one who truly understood him, but it came at a heavy price.

As Sonic's friends, Amy, Knuckles, and Tails, Rocontinued their friendly conversation, Sonic felt the weight of his secret bearing down on him. He had always been the carefree, adventurous hedgehog, and the thought of admitting his vulnerability to his closest friends terrified him.

Amy, ever the observant one, couldn't help but notice the tension between Sonic and Scourge. She leaned in closer to Sonic and asked, "Is everything alright, Sonic? You seem a bit... tense."

Sonic forced a smile, his eyes darting to Scourge, who shot him a warning glance. "Yeah, Amy, everything's fine. Just some personal stuff going on, you know?"

Amy raised an eyebrow but didn't press further. She understood the complexities of relationships all too well and decided to respect Sonic's privacy for now.

The evening continued, but Sonic's mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. He desperately wanted to confide in his friends, to break free from Scourge's control, but the fear of what Scourge might do held him back. He couldn't risk endangering his friends or himself.

My insides were burning. I could see from Sonic's eyes that he didn't feel the same way about this Scourge guy. It broke my heart to know that Sonic was already with someone else, but something about their relationship felt wrong. I had spent years searching for Sonic, not for fun, but because I loved him.

Rouge tried to change the subject, saying, "So, is there a hotel nearby? We're going to stay here for a while."

"Oh, there's a hotel across the street from our block. Maybe you can stay there," Tails suggested, and both Rouge and I agreed.

"Alright, we have to go, Sonic. Say goodbye to your friends," Scourge instructed Sonic, and Sonic bid farewell to his friends and me.

As they left, I excused myself and discreetly followed them. Rouge continued to gather information to ensure we had found the Sonic from my past life. I trailed Sonic and Scourge without their knowledge, all the while, Scourge maintained his grip on Sonic as they made their way to Sonic's place.

As I stealthily followed Sonic and Scourge to Sonic's place, a sense of urgency washed over me. The tangled web of emotions inside me, love mixed with determination, fueled my determination to uncover the truth about Sonic's situation.

Sonic and Scourge entered a modest apartment building, and I slipped into the shadows, careful not to alert them. It was clear that Sonic was unhappy with the current state of his relationship, but he was trapped, unable to break free.

Inside the apartment, I strained to listen to their conversation. Sonic's voice, tinged with sadness, reached my ears. "Scourge, I need some space. I can't keep living like this."

Scourge's voice, laced with anger, responded, "You're not going anywhere, Sonic. You know what i have on you and what i can do"

What does he mean by 'what i have on you?', My fists clenched as I watched from the shadows. Sonic's plea for freedom tugged at my heartstrings, it also curious me of what he was hiding maybe his blackmailing sonic

Meanwhile, Rouge was busy gathering information from Sonic's friends, trying to piece together the puzzle of Sonic's life and his connection to Scourge. Tails had grown suspicious of our sudden appearance and began asking questions about our true intentions. Rouge played it cool, maintaining her cover,

|Rouge's POV|

Maintaining our cover was crucial as we delved deeper into Sonic's complicated life with Scourge. Tails had grown increasingly suspicious of our sudden appearance and probing questions. He was a clever one, and I knew that he could uncover our true intentions if we weren't careful.

As we all settled into the hotel, Tails continued to watch us with a wary eye. To divert his attention and alleviate any doubts, I decided to initiate a friendly conversation with him.

"So, Tails," I began with a warm smile, "I couldn't help but notice that you're quite the tech genius. Do you work on any interesting projects around here?"

Tails, always eager to discuss his inventions, brightened up. "Oh, you noticed, huh? Yeah, I'm always working on something cool. Right now, I'm developing a new communication device that could revolutionize our world."

I nodded enthusiastically, keeping the conversation light and away from any sensitive topics. "That sounds fascinating, Tails. We're just a couple of curious travelers, always interested in new innovations."

Meanwhile, Shadow was continuing to shadow Sonic and Scourge, maintaining a discreet distance as they remained inside Sonic's apartment. It was a risky move, but we needed to uncover the truth about Sonic's relationship with Scourge.

Back at the hotel, Knuckles, ever vigilant, couldn't help but scrutinize our presence. He approached me and said, "You and Shadow seem pretty interested in Sonic. What's your connection with him, really?"

I met Knuckles' gaze, maintaining an air of mystery while trying to quell his suspicions. "We just wanna know facts about our new friends and it's just a coincidence we first asked about sonic" Knuckles seemed unconvinced but didn't press further. I decided to also ask facts about them to lower down our suspicion
