𝑳𝑰𝑨 sat on her bed as Dormé was packing Padmé's luggage. It had been decided that Padmé would return back to Naboo accompanied by Lia and Anakin to protect her. It was safe to say that Padmé hated the idea of hiding. Padmé was currently talking to Jar Jar about taking her place in the Senate while she is away. Lia noticed Anakin standing by the window, watching the city.

"I do not like this idea of hiding." Padmé said

Lia could tell her twin was both angry and frustrated.

"Don't worry. Now that the Council has ordered an investigation, it won't take Master Obi-Wan long to find this bounty hunter." Anakin said

"I haven't worked for a year to defeat the Military Creation Act to not be here when its fate is decided." Padmé said

She angrily placed clothes in her suitcase.

"Sometimes we must let go of our pride and do what is requested of us." Anakin stated, wisely

Lia and Padmé looked at the Padawan in surprise.

"Anakin, you've grown up." Lia said, shocked

Anakin made his way over to the window and Lia got up to pack her own things.

"Master Obi-Wan manages not to see it. Don't get me wrong. Obi-Wan is a great mentor. As wise as Master Yoda and as powerful as Master Windu." Anakin said

He began using the Force to levitate a ball and Lia looked at him, slightly impressed. He stopped playing with the ball and faced Lia.

"I am truly thankful to be his apprentice. In some ways... a lot of ways... I'm really ahead of him. I'm ready for the trials, but he feels that I'm too unpredictable. He won't let me move on." Anakin complained

"That must be frustrating." Lia said

She placed a dress in her suitcase.

"It's worse. He's overly critical. He never listens. He--He doesn't understand. It's not fair!" Anakin whined

Lia suppressed a laugh at his whining.

"All mentors have a way of seeing more of our faults than we would like. It's the only way we grow." Padmé said, wisely

Anakin sighed and sat down on the edge of Lia's bed.

"I know." Anakin said

Lia placed a pair of pants in her suitcase and looked at the younger man.

"Anakin. Don't try to grow up too fast." Lia said

Anakin stood up, towering over Lia.

"But I am grown up. You said it yourself." Anakin replied

He looked into her eyes and Lia's heart rate quickened.

"Please don't look at me like that." Lia begged

"Why not?" Anakin asked

"It makes me feel uncomfortable." Lia said

"Sorry, Lia." Anakin said

He smirked as Lia moved away from him.

Lia, Anakin, and Padmé sat in a small bus that sped towards the massive freighter docks of Coruscant's Industrial Area. As the bus stopped before a huge intergalactic freighter starship, the trio stood up and made their way towards the doors, where Captain Typho, Obi-Wan, and Dormé were waiting for them to hand their luggage.

"Be safe, milady." Typho said

"Thank you, Captain. Take good care of Dormé. The threat's on you two now." Padmé said

"He'll be safe with me." Dormé assured

She began to cry as Lia and Typho clasped each other's arms and the former wished her a good journey.

"You'll be fine." Padmé comforted

"It's not me, milady. I worry about you. What if they realize you've left the capital?" Dormé asked

"I'll protect her, Dormé. Besides, then Anakin will have to prove how good he is." Lia replied

She glanced at the Jedi Padawan who was in a deep conversation with his master. When they were finished, the two of them walked up to the small group.

"I'll get to the bottom of this plot quickly, milady. You'll be back here in no time." Obi-Wan assured

"I'll be most grateful for your speed, Master Jedi." Padmé replied

Obi-Wan turned to Lia.

"Be safe, okay?" Obi-Wan said

Lia nodded.

"Time to go." Anakin said

"I know." Padmé said

Lia grabbed her luggage. Padmé gave Dormé one last hug while Anakin took the rest of the luggage. The three of them exited the speeder bus, where Artoo was waiting for them.

"Anakin, may the Force be with you." Obi-Wan called

"May the Force be with you, Master." Anakin replied

The three headed off towards the giant Starfreighter.

"Suddenly, I'm afraid." Padmé admitted

"This is my first assignment on my own. I am too." Anakin revealed

"There is nothing to be worried about. We have Artoo with us." Lia saaid

Artoo whistled a positive reply, and Lia grinned at Anakin and Padmé, who laughed in response.
