𝑳𝑰𝑨, Padmé, Jobal, and Sola were clearing the table as Anakin and Ruwee took a walk outside.
"Why haven't you told us about him?" Sola asked
"What's there to talk about? He's just a boy." Lia replied
She placed the plates on the counter.
"A boy? Have you seen the way he looks at you?" Sola asked
"That's what I've been saying!" Padmé agreed
"Sola, Padmé stop it!" Lia exclaimed
"It's obvious he has feelings for you." Sola continued, ignoring Lia's protests
"Anakin and I are friends. Our relationship is strictly professional." Lia argued
She then looked at her mother.
"Would you tell them to stop it?" Lia asked
Jobal just laughed at her daughters and Lia rolled her eyes.
"I'm going to pack." Lia muttered, annoyed
She walked out of the kitchen.

Lia was packing her bag, adding some things she had forgotten. Anakin walked into the room without knocking.
"Ever heard of knocking?" Lia asked, annoyed
Anakin chose to ignore her comment and looked around the room.
"So, you still live at home." Anakin commented
"Padmé and I move around so much. We've never had a place of our own. Official residences have no warmth. I feel good here. I feel at home." Lia said
She placed a spare blaster into her bag.
"I never really had a home. Home was always where my mom was." Anakin said
Lia frowned at that statement before putting another dress in her bag.
"Hmm. Is this you?" Anakin asked
It was a hologram of Lia and her fellow handmaidens.
"That was right before the blockade happened. We were all so full of life. Most of them are gone now." Lia said, sadly
Anakin moved onto another hologram. This one was of Lia and Captain Panaka.
"My first day as a bodyguard. Notice the difference?" Lia asked
She chuckled to herself and closed up her suitcase.

The water speeder brought Padmé, Anakin, Lia, and Artoo to the house they would be staying in. Lia smiled at the sight, excited to finally be back in Lake Country, something missing from her childhood for quite a long while. Anakin hopped out of the speeder, turned around and extended his hand to help Lia get out of it. When she stood with her feet safely on the ground, Lia let go of his hand. Anakin then held his hand out to Padmé, helping her get out of the boat.
"We used to come here for school retreat. We would swim to that island every day. I love the water." Padmé said
Lia nodded in agreement. Soft taps sounded on the cobblestone path as Lia, Padmé, and Anakin gently strolled through the gardens of Lake Country, finally stopping upon a balcony facing out towards the glistening waters around them as the sun beat down upon the shimmering and tame waves.
"We used to lie out on the sand and let the sun dry us... and try to guess the names of the birds singing." Lia remembered
She looked out at the water with a smile on her face.
"I don't like sand. It's course and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere." Anakin said
He looked into Lia's eyes. Padmé quietly walked away from the two, allowing them to have their moment in peace.
"Not like here. Here, everything is soft... and smooth." Anakin said
He touched the opening on Lia's back, the motion causing a shiver to travel through Lia as she unintentionally leaned into his touch. She shivered noticeably under his stare, glancing back at him with just as much passion. His minty and warm breath fanned across her soft lips as she closed her eyes and awaited for the desired impact. It came softly - despite how close she was to simply yanking his locks and never detaching herself from his lips - a faint feather touch to her lips.
Anakin wrapped an arm around her waist to prevent her from collapsing from the sheer adrenaline erupting from the lone feeling of his mouth on hers. Pure bliss ran through Lia's mind as she placed her hands upon his chest, another way to steady herself.
But good things always must come to an end, and Anakin and Lia's euphoric kiss was unfortunately no exception. When the two finally and very gently pulled away from each other, Lia glanced upon Anakin with wide, regretful eyes, something that both confused him and worried him.
