Chapter 1

Ryder's POV

PAGKAUWI ko sa bahay ay hindi pa rin mawala sa aking isip ang lahat ng nangyari. I couldn't figure out if any of those things were real. Ang huling bagay na lang na natatandaan ko ay nakatitig akong tulala sa kisame hanggang sa makatulog ako.

When I woke up, the first thing I did was call Rex. As expected, like me she was shock to the core.

"Hinalikan ka ng isang Shawn Aiden Manalo?!?! He's straight and he has a girlfriend!"

I didn't know he has a girlfriend...

Para akong tinusok ng isang libong karayom. Hindi ko alam kung paano ako tutugon kay Rex right after finding out that he has a girlfriend. It was the moment when I felt like I could burst out the happiness and butterflies I felt... but then again it disappeared like a bubble mid air.

Does that mean, that kiss meant nothing to him?

He was my first kiss... yet it meant nothing.

Rex continued blabbing about what happened last night, still haven't moved on that it happened. While I was thinking what that kiss meant to him. Hindi ko alam kung kaya ko tuloy pumasok bukas...

"I can't believe na nangyari talaga iyon. And you're saying na bigla na lang siyang umalis? Baliw ba siya? We need to talk in person girl, tatawagan ko si Apollo, be ready in 30 minutes pupunta tayo sa Capt. Puccino."

Capt. Puccino is a popular coffee shop malapit sa amin.

Rex dropped the call, and when she did all I could do was to sigh. Wala akong gana at lakas para man lang mag-ayos. Gayunpaman, I did my best, and took a bath.

Dressed myself casually, just a plain white shirt and jogging pants. Hindi na ako masyadong nag-ayos. It should've been a canon event, but what Rex told me just changed the whole aesthetic of that moment.

I sighed before going down the stairs, then waited for my friends to arrive. A few minutes of waiting, naunang dumating si Apollo. He gave me a stare of disbelief, shock, and frustration.

"IS IT TRUE!?" Pasigaw na tanong sa akin ni Apollo.

I sarcastically smiled. "I don't want to talk about it, Bubs!!!" I immediately walked towards Apollo and hugged him tight.

Apollo, is really like a brother to me. Before we became a trio, it was just Apollo and I since elementary years. Bubs became our call sign as best friends, me, Rex, and Apollo.

"Oh please don't tell me na gumanti ka talaga sa halik ng lalaking iyon?" Apollo asked as he hugged me back.

"How could I not!? He's pogi! He's a drummer! He's tall! He's literally my type!" I shouted while hugging Apollo.

"Ang tanga mo, bakla ka! May jowa si Aiden!" Apollo shouted back.

I faked cried.

"I DIDN'T HAVE AN IDEA NA MARUNONG KA NGANG MAKIPAGLAPLAPAN EH!" Apollo yelled out loud.

I didn't intended it, but with so much shock I covered his mouth.

"Anong makipaglaplapan 'yung naririnig ko ha?" Manang came out of nowhere.

"Wala po, manang! Loko-loko lang si Apollo!" I responded.

"Diyos ko! Papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako, Ryder ha." Manang smirked at the two of us.

"Oh siya, malaki ka na rin naman, huwag ka lang magdadala ng lalaki rito sa bahay at baka mataga ko 'yan." She was about to walk away when Apollo interjected.

"Paano kung ako, manang?" tanong ni Apollo.

"Bakit kita tatagain, e halos magkapatid na nga kayo niyan ni Ryder, kulang na lang magkapalit kayo ng mukha eh." Manang then left the scene.
