As we drive through the sunset, to some kind of large building, there is silence in the car.
But of course, it cannot last long as we are soon welcomed by grenades.
Like, literally grenades.
What kind of action movie is this?
"We've got company!" Dazai shouts and Kunikida focuses on dodging the explosives.
I don't like that this kind of style makes me bump into Atsushi and back to the side of the car where I'm at but I have to say, Kunikida is a really good driver.
He dodges the grenades perfectly. I'm quite sure our car will not have any scratches.
He finishes the tricking by stopping the car sideways in front of some random guys with guns.
Who the hell even are those? Why are they shooting at us?
What's going on?
We get out of the car from the opposite side, to avoid the gunwounds we would get.
When we're about safe out there, Kunikida uses his ability.
"Doppo Poet!" he shouts as he rips a page from his notebook.
"Flashbang!"
Well, I guess that removes one of our problems.
"Well, at least now we know we're in the right place," Kunikida comments before turning to the other two males.
"You two head upstairs," he commands.
"Find the transmitter and send the stop signal to the car bomb."
Dazai and Atsushi nod in sync before running away.
Ah, I guess I'll have to be with Kunikida again.
I don't have anything against it.
He's a great fighter.
Anyway, as our two companions rush upstairs, Kunikida takes out his gun and stands up.
He runs out from behind the car and I'm ready to cover for him.
But the thing is, he doesn't get far. Not at all.
Instead, he is stopped by some random force.
Suddenly, the floor below him lights up, different numbers circling in there.
What the fuck is this?
"I wonder what number you'll get," a new voice says from somewhere ahead of both of us.
Great. Another guy to beat up.
Can I have the honour this time?
"How are you feeling? You're looking great! For now," the person adds.
I'm going to assume it's a male.
He sure sounds like one but hey, who am I to judge?
I still will judge him even if I'm no one to do so.
"Something tells me you'll have a really good number," the guy adds after a short pause.
Kunikida's right hand then starts glowing and he raises it to his face.
I guess there's a number?
Wait, is that the same guy who killed the taxi driver?
It sure seems so.
"You sniffed this place out quicker than I thought," the man says and I swear I can hear the smirk in his voice.
It's even more annoying than Dazai's smirks.
