The range rover drove us to a big house... His parents house.
"I'm getting more nervous." I whispered as the gate opened.
He helt my hand and gave it a slight squeeze. " Your going to be fine."
"My son is finally back." A middle aged woman said as we came down from the car.
Standing there were two maids and his parents.
His mom was dressed in a long Ankara flowing gown. She had little makeup but yet she was quite the beauty.
His dad was dressed in a normal polo shirt and jeans.
They didn't look that extravagant. They looked simple.
Now I know why Seyi acts and dresses this way.
His mom hugged him and smacked her lips on his cheeks making a 'mwah' sound.
"Mom your embarrassing me." He smiled.
He hugged his father. He was as tall as his father... Taller if I'm to be honest.
"This is Zina. My finance." He held me on my waist, bringing me closer to me.
His parents but shared a surprised look.
"Hello my dear." She hugged me.
"Good afternoon Ma'am." I greeted.
"Please don't call me Ma'am. Call me Busola."
"Ah no ma. What about mummy."
She flashed a warm smile. " Sure."
"Let's head inside." His dad said.
"You two should carry their Luggage inside."
The two maids bent their knees lower before going to pack our bags.
"How was the trip?."
We were all in the living room which was quite the sight.
"It was fine." He glanced at the tv then to his father." Which team is playing now?"
Football was what he was referring to.
"Man city and Arsenal."
"Arsenal better beat that club oh."
His dad laughed." In your dream Seyi. Count is three two. Mancity is winning."
"It's not yet half time."
