Mr Solape had refused to see me. I wouldn't blame him after the stunt i pulled in the office.

I went to dad's office and he said he was going to mom's grave and I opted to follow him.

So here we are. In the cemetery.

I had few times to see mom's grave but the last time was a month ago.

Dad placed the flowers gently by her grave.

"It was always like this at first." I said.

"Huh?." He asked still crouching.

"You, I and mum. Until Osas came."

He glanced up at me but he frowned slightly due to the reflection of the sun.

"Your right." He said. " And it was good that Osas came."

"How ?."

He sat down on the floor.

My jaw dropped. " Dad ! There are chairs close to here. We can sot down here."

He shook his head." I'm comfortable here. A friend taught me this."

I sighed sitting down beside him. Luckily I had worn jeans.

"You were saying how it was good that Osas joined the family."

"Ah yes. When you were much younger you always wanted an another sibling but due to your mom's frailness it was impossible. Your mom also wanted a child badly and then we planned to adopt but it never went through so when I had Osas your mom was really pleased and you can't certainly deny that at first you were pleased."

I shrugged." Maybe I was."

"Osas was always jealous of you despite that, she always looked to you as an elder sister."

That came as a surprise. " Jealous of me ?."

"Every Time your off at the University she always called you lucky. Did you think this is how she wanted her life to turn out?. A uni dropout ?. People calling her insane."

There was some thing in his tone.

"No matter how much your mother loved Osas she could never have loved her as her own flesh and blood and Osas knew that and envied you. You had a mother who you can still remember and you have me but who does she have ?. Sje doesn't even know who are family is."

I felt a tug in my heart.

"I really disapproved of your attitude towards her. Imaging you loosing me and then finally having another family figure and the next thing your knowing is that he is going to die and it's all your fault. Think of your words before you use them.

"Since that day in the hospital, Osas hasn't even called me and looking at what is being tweeted you will know Osas has never had an easy life. she looks out for people but yet what she gets in return is hurt. She tries to love but gets rejected but that doesn't stop her to keep on trying."

I checked the tweets about her in Twitter and guilt began to set in.

I've been the selfish one between us both.

I and Zina were both in the car as we headed home.

We had gone to the mall and some other places for mother and daughter in-law bonding.

Zina seemed like a nice girl but I still had a thought it was all an act.

Thinking of the time she lied, I wouldn't blame her. Women do the darnest things to get the approval of their lovers family especially the mother.
