"Hi guys, can we sit here?" Seungmin beams at them, and without waiting for the answer he throws his backpack onto one of the unoccupied chairs, earning a side-eyed glance from both Hyunjin and Jisung.
"This is my bestie Jeongin," he tugs at a sleeve of another younger-looking boy who only smiles awkwardly and mouths to the other we're besties now? "And this is Changbin," the other guy who kept a certain distance from the duo gives them a slight nod.
"Don't try to make me jealous, it's not gonna work," Minho says, rolling his eyes.
"Well," Seungmin sits down and two of his friends follow, "you'd be my bestie only if you weren't a traitor." He sticks his tongue out.
"Okay, another day another drama, bring it on," Felix says, swinging his legs in the air as he sips on his coffee. "What are your motives?"
"My motives?" Seungmin points at himself innocently, "I have none, Minho just invited us to sit here, right Minho?"
Minho death-stares him but doesn't say anything.
"Anyways, I've heard that you're in charge of the school's drama club?" Seungmin inquires, "I wondered if you wouldn't need some extra hands to work?"
"Uh, we're fin–"
"Actually," Jisung interrupts Hyunjin, "We're short on time and there is plenty of things to arrange. We don't even have actors, or roles whatsoever..." he gives Minho a meaningful look. "So if you'd like, I can recruit you to the club!"Seungmin claps his hands. "Being an actor? I'd love that!"
Hyunjin huffs and mutters under his breath, "obviously." Then he speaks up a bit louder, "But don't prepare yourself for anything big, I'm taking the lead role."
"Uh, about that..." Han scratches his nape. "Minho-hyung is going to take the lead."
"What?!" Minho and Hyunjin exclaim at the same time.
"What what?" Jisung sulks in reply, "I already told you that you're getting Xiao.""And I already told you that I'm not an actor..."
"Oh, hyung, please??" He makes puppy eyes.
"Ay, Jisung-ah, he said no..." Hyunjin tries to change his mind.
"But he fits perfectly for that role!" Jisung whines, throwing a tantrum. "Hyungie, please say yes, say yes, say yes!"
"Okay, okay!" Minho gently puts his hands on Jisung's shoulders, afraid that the younger would fall off his chair with all the movement. "I'll try, yeah? Just... if I'm not going to act well, give the role to someone else."
Bangchan and Changbin exchange looks, amusement glimmering in their eyes. "Well, well, well... I didn't know Minho could be convinced that quickly by anyone," Chan chuckles.
Minho gives him a warning glance, "I'm not convinced, I'm just going to give it a go..."
"And you guys?" Jisung looks at Jeongin and Changbin, "Wanna help us out?"
"I'll pass, I've got enough work with the soccer team..." Changbin reasons. "But if you'd need my help with carrying heavy stuff, I bet all the scenography will be heavy, I'll be more than eager to help out."
"And Jeongin will definitely want to join!" Seungmin wraps an arm around the younger's shoulders.
Jeongin only gives him a weird look. "Uh, can you stop speaking on my behalf?"
"Aw, Innie, but you're only a baby~"
"Help me, this man's holding me hostage–"
They both start to play fight each other, their legs wrestling underneath the table.
