He should have just listened to Dimitri and just let it go, but no, not him.
He's as stubborn as he looks.

There was no way he'd have a peaceful mind knowing Cora was not coming back, or he'd most likely never see her again.

So he went in search of her, he left Russia to Italy to find Cora and now he'd been taken by Enzo.

Dimitri didn't even know he'd left the house or the country entirely.
If they were going to kill him, he'd die alone but at least he got to hear her voice one last time.

He managed to crack a smile thinking of her voice, how she had pleaded for them to let him go.

He'd missed her badly, more than he thought he would.
Coming face to face with Cara earlier on, he'd seen now how much they looked alike

But even in his sleep, he can tell them apart from each other.
Cara had the eyes of a killer, she looked the part of a fearless woman

But Cora was pure, innocent and kind.
Too kind if you ask him.

Cara recognized him the Moment she made eye contact with him, although she didn't say anything but he knew she remembered him.

And that was one thing he never saw In Cora's eyes, when he first met her, Recognition.

Now he was tied up in their basement, it was dark, cold and reeked of rusted iron.
What is the mafia's men's deal with basement, he laughed at his own pathetic way of taking his mind off the whole thing.

He didn't know how long he'd been here for, but it was long enough to know that he was very thirsty and his face was throbbing with pain.

They'd really beaten him up to a pulp, he didn't blame them though, he was an enemy in their territory.

All her attempts to sneak out of her room had been futile, Enzo had put two of his men in front of her door to stop her from going out.

She badly wanted to see him, It had been hours since they'd brought him in.
He was probably hungry or even thirsty, someone needed to tend to his wounds.

What was he even doing here?
She thought she'd never see him but she was wrong.
He was here but she didn't like the state in which she saw him.

Did Dimitri send him?
She shook her head
She doubt Dimitri would send Ivan on such a task, or Ivan would even agree to do something as dangerously risky as this for Dimitri.

She was restless and on edge, she's asked to speak with Cara, she needed to see him and ask him why he was here?

Does he have a death wish being here?
She was sitting on her bed having all these thoughts when her door opened and her sister walked in with a bored expression

"You wanted to see me"? She asked standing in front of Cora

She'd never understand why her sister was acting like that earlier on, This guy was the enemy, he looked oddly familiar, asides the fact that he's related to Dimitri, she felt like she'd seen him somewhere before.

"Cara I need to see him please" Cora pleaded with her sister getting up from the bed, she knew being abrasive won't get her what she wants

"You know that's impossible, I can't let you see him" she said looking uninterested in the conversation "why do you even care anyway, they kidnapped you" she asked looking at her sister with a bit of amusement.
