"Dr Shepherd OR4 is ready for you?" Wilson shouted across the ER while Luna was already looking through her cases on her iPad.

"Can you page Karev I'm gonna need another set of hands. Then go scrub" Luna said looking up for a split second. Luna was keeping herself busy and they were finding out about the crash today and whether they won or not.

The hospital was tense, to say the least, the word was out that everyone would be finding out whether the Seattle Grace Six when their case or not. With then suing the hospital certain doctors weren't so happy with them.

"Where is Karev?" Luna stormed into the scrub room questioning Wilson.

"He's over in with Bailey, I can page someone else?" Wilson said stopping scrubbing.

"No it's fine, you can be my first assistant" Luna instructed. She did well under pressure.

They had started the surgery on the patient but Luna soon realised it looked worse than I was.

"Can you page Yang please?" Luna shouted out.

"Can you see that there? That's the tumour it's gone through now to the heart and possibly the aorta. So we need to pack until Yang gets here" Luna said explaining it so Wilson understood.

"What have you we got?" Yang joined the surgeons.

"Her heart rate keeps spiking, the tumour has progressed through the aorta and the heart" Luna caught Yang up.

"Okay, I'll put her on bypass and we can see what we can do," Yang said.

"I'm gonna see if I can remove the tumour," Luna said.

The surgeons were so concentrated on what they were doing they didn't hear anyone say the result was in.

"Shepherd?" Wilson snapped.

"Yes!" Luna shouted.

"They've come to a verdict" Wilson looked dead into Luna's eyes like she'd just witnessed a murder.

"Okay well I can't go, Jackson can go as I'm proxy if he's not in surgery" Luna spat out going back to dissecting the tumour.

"I'm not going if you're not going," Yang said, it made Luna smile. Even if the whole hospital was against them she'd still be her friends. Well, family now Luna thought.

"You could go if you want I could page Russel" Luna laughed.

"He'd be useless," Cristina said laughing.

"Okay, I'm gonna go talk to the parents about a pacemaker and add her to the transplant list," Cristina said leaving.

"Wilson do you want to remove the Tumour when Yang comes back" Luna asked.

"Why do you do that?" Wilson asked.

"Do what?" Luna asked defensively.

"Let me do all these cool things, I'm an intern" Wilson snapped.

Luna looked shocked hearing Wilson's outburst but secretly loved it.

"Wilson you are here to learn, you aren't going to leave if I make you assist. One of my favourite mentors let me operate from day one. And I know you can take it, come on you telling me you don't want to?" Luna pressed Wilson for an answer.

"I'm an Intern" Wilson answered.

"And I wouldn't let you do it if I didn't think you could" Luna expressed.

Wilson looked at Luna admiring her, she'd never really had a mentor who took their time to teach. And she appreciated it.

"I can also tell we are similar on a level but not sure which one yet" Luna smiled.
