Finney's pov

-

I get up from my bed after aggressively shutting off my alarm.

I rub my eyes but quickly halt my movement as my wrists ached. Actually, everything ached since I got drunk the night prior.

I haven't talked to the guys in like a month at this point, I'm not quite sure.

I sighed and got up carefully to get ready for school.

No one's pov

Finney's pov

I walk into first period and sit down next to Donna.

"Hey." I said to her, and she hummed back.

"Your second period got canceled again." Donna states, and I simply nod.

'Billy probably told her again.' I thought as I took out my computer and notebook.

I sighed and logged into my computer. 'Let's hope I don't run into Billy while I walk around.'

-

I jinxed it. I fucking jinxed it.

"Hey, Finney." I heard from behind me as I walked down the stairs.

'Shit...that's Billy's voice.' I cursed.

I slowly turned around and gave an awkward smile. "Heyyyyyy...nice, seeing you, but I gotta go." I said quickly and turned around as I sped down the stairs.

I was sweating profusely as I heard footsteps behind me. I felt a hand wrap around my wrist, and I winced slightly.

I turned around to Billy. "Let go."

Billy shook his head. "Not until you actually talk to us. We've been messaging you every day, but you completely ghost us."

I grumbled and turned my head. "It's not any of your business."

Billy sighed. "But it is. You're our soulmate. We know it. And you know it too."

I groaned. "I don't need soulmates, nor do I want them."

Billy stayed silent for a bit. "You're not your parents."

I furrowed my brows and turned towards him quickly. "What the fuck has that got to do with this." I snapped back.

"I know you're scared that we're gonna end up like your parents. But we're not. You're not them. You can choose whether you want to end up like them or not."
