Chapter 21: Interview

In the second week of December. May one-on-one interview kami with the media. Nauna sina sina Catronia, Attia at Calypso. Nagkaroon kasi ako ng sakit, lagnat one week after naming mag Amusement park. Okay na naman ang lagay ko kaya ako yung nabago yung schedule para sa interview.

Nasa isang office kami ng MI Building. Para sa mga conference or interview ang room na ito. Nagsesetup pa sila ng mga lights, camera at yung exact place kung saan mag-interview. Inaayusan ako ng ilang make-up artist, naka black top ako and white skirt habang naka lugay yung buhok ko.

"Ready guys? Ready, Ms. Ezra?" Nakangiting lumapit yung babae na maginterview ata sa akin. Tumango ako at ngumiti. "Everyone ste up everything! We'll start in just a minute!"

Tumayo ako at lumapit sa mag-interview tinuro nya ang pwesto ko at umupo na ako roon. Kalamado ako dahil okay naman yung mga itatanong. Walang personal na bagay just about my training and about my a little information of my life.

"Good morning, Ezra."

"Good morning." I smile to her and look at the camera. "Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Ezra." I smile.

"How's the training?"

"It's hard but I'll make it."

"Oh? Why it's hard for you?" She ask again.

"Uhm just a little misunderstanding about the girls. Stressful. But it's worth it."

"That's good. How are you? We watch the first elimination. Jessi has been eliminated... how are you?"

I gulp. Natahimik sandali. Matapos kong makabawi ay peke akong ngumiti at bumuntong hininga. "I'm good... I know Jessi will always be proud of us. She's been part of the Melody. It's hard at first, I cried." I chuckle one of the staff give me a tissue. "It's hard to... lose someone who are part of your life and memories. Me and Jessi actually not a friend inside the training room. She's really stubborn and she hates me."

"Woah? Really?" The interviewer asked na para bang hindi naniniwala. Tumango ako at peke na ngumiti habang nagpunas ng luha.

"Yes. When the second evaluation she hates me that time. I practice by myself. I tried to talk to her but she pushed me away... when we have time to reconnect to each other, we became friends. That's why it's hard to see her leaving in the group. I miss her so much." I cried and wipe my tears. "S-sorry," natatawa akong humingi ng paumanhin sa kanila.

"It's okay, Ezra. We understand that. What would you say to Jessi?"

"Jessi, if you're watching this interview... I really miss you girl. I miss our bonding. When we meet again mall tayo tapos kain tayo ng street food. Corndog right?" Natatawa ako habang inaalala yung time na nakasama ko sya. Solid talaga. "I'm so proud of you... always remember that you are part of the Melody. We are Melody right?"

"Next topic, shall we?" Tumango ako at kinalma ang sarili. "What can you say about you're fans that supporting you through the first day?"

"Oh... It's nice to be supported by my co-filipino. I really appreciate that."

"Some say that you are beautiful among the girls? Is that true?"

"Oh my god! I'm not no. Kayo talaga! It's Attia actually. She's pretty so much guys! Huwag kayong fake news." Natatawa ako.

"Translator please," the interviewer joke mas lalo akong natawa. "Kidding aside. You been humble to everyone, why? Is that really you're personality?"

"Oh well... Uhm... I'm not that humble. I'm just uhm good to everyone who are good to me also. Sometimes I can't control my self like everybody else that's why I'm not humble as you think."
