a trolly heads towards
five people
standing on the track.
i stand next to a lever.
if i pull the lever
the track diverts the trolly to the second track
and nobody gets hurt.
Am i a bad person if i don't pull the lever?
Of course I am. It is my fault for the death of those people because I watched it happen and did nothing even though I could have.
Is it my fault?
I know exactly what happened
because I watched it happen with my own eyes,
and I know undoubtedly that it is not her fault.
and that's why
I can never blame her, and why
I still love her,
because it's
my fault.
I watched her surround herself with awful people and I did nothing to stop it.
It is my fault.
