Victoria POV

"That's P7. That's P7." I couldn't help but smile to most people they'd want a better race, but I don't think that my debut could have gone any better.

The race was, by all mean not easy, having to change my front wing lap 16. Perez crashed out in lap 23. After trying to overtake me, bug he got to cocky moving wide onto the gravel I couldn't help but smile.

I tried to hold Norris as much as I could, but the last lap he overtook me taking that P6 spot.

"Victoria, how are you feeling with the result?"

"I'm happy with it. I don't think I could have done any better with how the race went. I honestly thought that I would be out in lap 16 after the contact I made with the barrier," I say.

"You drove impressively, saving yourself from making complete contact. How do you feel about Perez crashing out?"

"My media manager is going to hate me for this one, but I think it serves him right. If I remember his words correctly, I should be back in the kitchen and that I wasn't cut out for this, but only one of us made it into the point and made it past lap 23,"

"You definitely keep your media manager on her toes, but I like the honesty," I could have said more, but I chose to bite my tongue.

After my media duties, I make my way to the garage, getting changed.

Lando POV

My media duties had ended, so I made my way back to the garage.

"We've got an issue," Max F says as soon as I walk in.

"We do?"

"Our hotel cancelled the reservation next week,"

"Tell me you're joking?" He shakes his head."They can't just cancel this close." I complain.

"You alright?" Oscar asks.

"Our hotel cancelled next week," I say. "We're gonna have to find somewhere else to stay,"

"You guys can stay with me and my family?" He suggests "there's a guest house,"

"We wouldn't want to intrude,"

"Don't worry about it, they won't mind," he says. I look at Max, who was already nodding.

"You know what yeah we'll come thanks mate,"

"I'm flying back tomorrow. When are you getting there?"

"Tuesday"

"Text me your flight details. I'll pick you guys up,"

"Thanks, mate,"

~~~~~~~
"He said he'll be waiting by the front," I say, looking at the message he had sent not that long ago. We wheel our suitcases through the airport, making our way to the front.
"Can you see him?" Max asks, looking around our eyes, landing on him, waving to us.
"Glad to see you two made it in one piece," Oscar says, opening the boot and helping us with our luggage.
"The worst flight we've been on,"
"Turbalance?" I nod.
~~~~~~~~

We arrive at this family home and get out of the car.

"Oh, I forgot to mention," he says. "logans here,"

"That's not a problem,"

"Great, so Victoria being here won't be either,"

"Oscar," I say as he walks away. I turn to Max my mouth agape. "Is he serious?"

"Only one way to find out," he smiles, walking into the building I through my arms up moping behind him.

"Victoria, you've always been so helpful," Nicole, Oscars mum says.

"She literally just grabbed you a cup," Oscar adds.

"Yeah, helpful, unlike you,"

"I hate that my parents like you more,"

"It's not hard," I walk into the kitchen, my eyes locking with hers. "erm Osc, why has Norris followed you home?"

"I didn't follow him," I say. "I was invited,"

"To stay?"

"Did I not mention that I'm sure I mentioned it,"

"No, you didn't," she stares at me.

"He also didn't mention you'd be here,"

"She's always here. I thought you knew that," Oscar says.

"Victoria Carter," a voice shouts.

"Katie, do you have to shout?" Logan adds.

"Why are you speaking?" The girl walks in, raising her eyebrow "your on timeout,"

"Timeout?" Oscar asks."I've been gone for an hour, and she put you on timeout?"

"Logan thought it would be smart eating her lunch," Victoria adds, taking a seat.

"I didn't know you two were this close?" Max says, pointing between Logan and Victoria.

"Because of the crash?" She asks

"Yeah, everyone, made it out as if you didn't speak to each other again,"

"We tried to tell then we were fine and on good terms, but I guess they took that as our media telling us to say it," logan says.

"Yeah, I mean, it's not Logans fault he's such a shit driver, I blame whoever gave him a licence," Victoria speaks.

"I like you have I told you that?"

"I think you've mentioned it,"

"Great, this is going to be fun," I say, taking a seat with the rest.

"Can't you two just play nice this weekend we are all staying in the guest house,"

"I'll play nice," she says.

"I guess I will too," she fakes a smile which i copy.
