—A Few Minutes Earlier Back at the LoV Hideout—
——Neither of the heroes had slept during the night. They were too busy staying alert and worrying about what the villains were up to.
They figured that most of the League was off attempting to infiltrate UA and go after Eri.
Now would be their best chance to attempt an escape.
"We don't have a choice anymore. We need to get out." Eraser Head broke the silence that had lingered in their prison for what was at least an hour.
Present Mic agreed. "Yeah, we can't wait anymore."
Eraser Head knew what the other hero planned to do. "Be careful, someone will probably hear you," he warned.
He nodded. "Brace yourself."
The erasure hero shifted in his seat, covering his ears the best he could with his shoulders.
Present Mic pursed his lips and concentrated his quirk towards the chains holding his right wrist to the arm of his chair. He upped both his pitch and volume until the chains broke under the strong frequency of the sound waves.
Before anything else could happen, the door of the room burst open and in ran Kurogiri. At a moment's notice, Eraser Head erased the warp villain's quirk. With his quirk gone, he was practically defenseless.
Present Mic quickly used his voice and yelled at the villain. He was launched back into the wall of the room, his head hitting harshly against the brick wall. He collapsed to the floor, lying completely still.
After waiting and watching Kurogiri's still figure for a bit longer, Eraser Head relaxed, deactivating his quirk.
Present Mic continued to break the chains restraining him until they all fell away. He stood up, tugging at his fingerless gloves, adjusting them as if he were a doctor.
He reached up and pulled a bobby-pin from his hair. It was a good thing that bobby-pins weren't normally magnetic, otherwise Magne would have found and most likely confiscated them.
He walked over and started to pick the locks on the chains that restrained Eraser Head. It didn't take long before all the chains clattered to the floor.
The erasure hero stood up and stretched, loosening up his body that was stiff from sitting in one position for so long.
Present Mic tossed his bobby-pin to the ground. "One of the oldest tricks in the book. It's a wonder they don't use different locks."
"Yeah," Eraser Head agreed.
He looked over to Kurogiri, who hadn't moved from his original position of lying on the floor.
The voice hero went over and restrained the warp villain with the very chains the two heroes had been locked up with. It was truly ironic.
Once Kurogiri's hands were restrained behind him, he was sat up against the wall so that the two heroes could keep a closer eye on him.
Eraser Head reached a hand up to the left side of his face. He felt over the scar and stitches that Puppet Master had stitched into him. It was still painful and he cringed as he felt the strings in his flesh. He sighed and dropped his hand back to his side.
Hearing the sigh, Present Mic turned to his friend and walked over to him. "You okay?" he asked.
"It's fine, just hurts," was the answer. "Not much I can do about it."
No one had responded to Mic's voice besides Kurogiri, was he the only one here? Eraser Head wondered, but he wasn't curious enough to find out. "I'm not willing to test our luck; we need to leave, now."
A second figure ran through the open door of the room. The person was female and was wearing black clothing with white stripes, she also had long black and white gradient hair. Her colored porcelain mask was far from unidentifiable.
"Puppet.." Eraser Head mumbled to himself.
His vision flicked over to where Kurogiri was slumped as he opened a warp gate beneath him. Before his quirk could be erased, he fell through the portal and disappeared.
The erasure hero's eyes widened. He was never unconscious?!
Another person ran up next to Puppet, the blue flame villain himself, Dabi.
Dammit, Eraser Head cursed.
"Mic!" he yelled in a commanding tone. He activated his quirk, making sure to keep Puppet and Dabi's quirks erased so that they wouldn't be able to get out unscathed.
Present Mic quickly understood, using his quirk and yelling at the structure of the building around them. The room shook and started to crumble as the force from the sound waves shook the building's foundations.
——
It didn't take too long for Twice to collect the measurements he needed from Eri and Toga had swiftly sent her back to UA, leading her back for a bit before running back to to join up with her comrades.
After Eri was gone, the villainous group rushed through Kurogiri's warp gate and back to the base.
Once they got to the other side, they were outside and in front of the hideout.
Magne was standing outside and Kurogiri was sitting on the ground next to her rubbing the back of his head with his hand. There were chains laying by Kurogiri's side. Dabi and Puppet weren't there.
"What the hell happened?" Shigaraki demanded, anger radiating off him as he marched up to Kurogiri.
Kurogiri answered him, "Eraser Head and Present Mic were able to free themselves. I got to them but they restrained me, that was when I opened a warp gate to your location. Puppet was the one I saw before warping myself out here."
"I was told to stay here and keep watch while Dabi and Puppet went in. I also had to help get chains off him," Magne added, gesturing to Kurogiri.
Hawks approached Kurogiri. "You're injured?" he asked.
"I was only knocked in the head, I'll be fine," the warp villain assured.
"Stay out here, you're useless right now," Shigaraki commanded his second in command. He turned to face the rest of the group. "The rest of us are going in."
With that, they all ran inside and Hawks flew ahead of everyone, taking the lead.
The sounds of Present Mic's yells sounded from ahead and the building started to shake violently. The building was shaking so much that it seemed the building was going to crumble.
The walls around the villain group started to crack. The building was going to crumble, and most of them were inside.
Hawks' eyes widened. Spinning around, he yelled, "This building's coming down, everyone out!"
He deployed several feathers from his wings. The feathers grabbed each of the villains by their clothing and flew them towards the exit of the building as quickly as possible. Magne held onto her magnet, and the feathers couldn't keep her elevated, they ripped through her clothing and she dropped to the ground.
As the building further cracked, Hawks raced towards the exit, quickly dedicating more feathers to Magne.
He suddenly heard a crumbling sound from above him and he glanced up; a massive crack had formed in the ceiling from the shaking caused by the loud voice.
He looked towards the exit, and the last thing that he saw was Toga being flown out the door by one of his feathers before the ceiling gave out and the building collapsed right on top of him, along with Magne.
