It took about ten minutes for Eraser Head, Midoriya, and Asui to get back to the location of the bus. It would've been faster, but the erasure hero was still lightheaded, and that slowed them down. By the time they arrived, he was almost back to normal.
Eraser Head looked around. The bus was still in the same shape as before, sliced in half and broken. All of his students were congregated around it, and each of them looked like they had taken at least a hit.
Several of them were down. Iida was sitting against the side of the bus in his still-mangled hero costume, although now with his helmet off. Uraraka was sitting beside him and seemed to be nauseous.
Bakugo sat in the middle of the street, a portion of Sero's tape wrapped around his shoulder like a bandage. He kept his arm still, limp by his side. Lying next to his leg on the pavement was a bloody throwing knife, one that the pro hero recognized as Puppet's.
On another section of the road, there was a pile of ice. Todoroki and Koda were sitting next to it, diligently filling plastic bags with the ice.
Yaoyurozu was going around making first aid equipment such as bandages, antiseptics and cloths. Others helping out with injuries were Ashido, Sero, Hagakure, and even though he himself was roughed up, Kirishima was helping too. Even the bus driver was flitting around the area to assist in any way that he could.
The teacher looked around and did a quick headcount. Not including the bus driver or himself, there were 15 people present. That's it — a quarter of the class was unaccounted for. The few that were missing were Aoyama, Kaminari, Jiro, Tokoyami, and Ojiro.
Eraser Head turned to Midoriya, who still was standing beside him. "Where are the missing students?" he asked.
"They never came back, they're probably still in the woods," was the reply.
Okay. The teacher took a breath. Though they're still out there, the best thing to do right now is to check injuries of the students here, then go find the rest.
"Mr. Aizawa," Yaoyarozu said, catching his attention. She had a firm and determined look on her face. "I'll take care of injuries here, you go find the few of us needed to complete our class."
He nodded to her, grateful that she was taking charge.
"Midoriya, Asui," he said, catching the attention of the two students, "come with me — we're going to find your classmates that aren't here."
He would've gone alone, but considering his previous performance that day, it was out of the question. If Puppet and her souls were still stalking through the woods, he would need backup. Adding to the reasons as to why, his neck still hurt and though his lightheadedness had calmed, it was still faintly there.
"Here, before you go, take some bandages. There's no telling what you'll find out there." Yaoyarozu created a few bandages and handed them to her teacher. She then turned back to helping Sato with his injuries.
"Thanks," he said, though got no response back.
Once Midoriya and Asui had come over to him, they started off into the forest, looking for the five missing students.
Eraser Head hoped that they were all safe and unharmed, but something stirred in his gut, telling him otherwise.
——
They had ran through the woods for less than four minutes when they found the first of five missing students.
—
"Look, over there!" Asui alerted.
Eraser Head turned. The amphibious teen was pointing to the left of herself, he followed her gesture and saw Kaminari — he was just standing there.
