The building collapsed under Present Mic's quirk, though it wasn't in anyone's favor. The heroes had been separated from each other, but so had the villains.

As the building collapsed, Puppet had jumped at Eraser Head, tackling him to the ground right before the ceiling collapsed around them and closed them in. With the area they were in now enclosed by rubble, the two were in a one-on-one.

Puppet jumped up off the erasure hero and a few yards away. Due to all the rubble, the space that they were in was small and confined, with not much room to maneuver.

Eraser Head quickly got to his feet, making sure to not blink or take his eyes off the villain.

Puppet wasted no time in running at him. She kicked towards his head, trying to quickly end the fight.

He quickly blocked with his arm and grabbed her ankle. He pulled her towards him, making her momentarily lose her balance and teeter.

Using the brief opportunity, he swiftly elbowed her in the head. The force behind the blow was minimal — much less than he had hoped, but it still knocked her back a few feet. She was momentarily dazed by the blow, and he used that to his advantage.

He grabbed her by the shoulder and spun her around, speedily wrapping an arm around her neck and forcing her into a headlock. She stumbled into him as he got a more secure grip, holding her against himself to decrease her chances of getting away.

She jerked around and her hands grabbed onto his arm, trying to loosen his hold as his grip on her became more secured.

"Surrender," he spoke right into her ear.

"You would like that, wouldn't you?" she spat out, her words slightly choked by the grip he had on her neck.

Puppet lifted her leg, and before Eraser Head could move, she stomped onto his foot with the heel of her boot. He winced and let out a slight grunt in response, but he didn't blink, and his grip on her didn't waver.

She moved a hand from his arm and elbowed him hard in his side. His body jerked slightly in response, and her other hand left his arm, using it to elbow him in the other side as well.

Now his grip on her loosened just a smidge, allowing her to move just a bit more freely. She swung her head back and bashed the back of her skull into his face. That caused him to let go of her, his eyes closing at the pain.

That pain became the least of his worries as strings wrapped around him.

Puppet tightened the strings around Eraser Head. Wrapping her strings over exposed pipes in the ceiling, she pulled and hoisted him off his feet, holding him suspended in the air. He didn't put up much of a fight, staying wrapped tightly in her strings. His nose slowly dripped blood onto the floor.

Puppet rubbed at her neck, relieving the uncomfortable and irritating pain from the hold that the erasure hero had had on her neck. Once the feeling subsided, she dropped her hand back down to her side.

She looked up at Eraser Head, flashing a grin. "You blinked, Eraser~" she teased.

He looked at her with a glare, his teeth grit into a snarl. "You also made a critical error," he shot back.

She took a few steps towards him, pulling back on her strings to make sure she didn't lose her hold on him. "Oh? And what did I do wrong?"

"You underestimated us."

Yellow sound waves suddenly blasted Puppet in the back. She was shot forward towards the erasure hero, her strings loosening enough for him to break free.

Eraser Head erased Puppet's quirk, reaching out and grabbing a hold of her arm. He didn't allow her any time to counter his actions, quickly swiping his foot along the ground in an attempt to trip her.

As she jumped to avoid his foot, it only gave him more of an upper hand.

He slammed her down onto the ground hard, briefly knocking the wind out of her. She regained herself right as he recoiled his fist and punched at her head, trying to knock her out.

She ducked her head to the side and dodged his fist by a few inches, letting him punch the solid ground instead.

Puppet wasn't completely pinned down, and so she quickly twisted onto her side and kicked the hero off of her. She was able to hook her foot around his side and swung him down on the ground instead of herself, turning the tables on him.

Before she could do anything more, she got punched in the face by a right hook. The hit sent her off of the erasure hero and sprawling to the ground.

Having been completely tunnel-visioned on Eraser Head, the villain had nearly forgotten about the other hero. Present Mic was equally skilled.

As Puppet was given a moment to recover, Present Mic assisted Eraser Head to his feet.

The villain pushed herself up to stand. She tasted iron on her tongue and felt a warm liquid on corner of her lips. She used the back of her hand to wipe away the bit of blood.

She looked at the two heroes. Her thoughts drifted to her fight in the theater with Eraser Head; it was two-on-one then, with him against her and Dabi. Now that same thing was happening in reverse to her, the erasure and voice heroes having the advantage.

She let out a frustrated huff. Karma's a bitch.
