The water cracked hurriedly, spilling without mercy from the ice cracking intermittently. Peter grasped Lucy his sword piercing the ice, as Enzo reflected his moments a toned arm pulling Susan to his tall figure.

The ice cracked forcing both to grasp as their swords heavily, clutching the grip, harshly. The beavers pushed the glaciers to the edge of the river, prompting them to climb upon solid ground, Peters face was askew as he saw that he no longer held Lucy in his grip, but rather a coat absent of the young child.

"What have you done?!" Susan cries were devastated as she called for her sister, tears threatening their descent upon porcelain cheeks.
"Lucy! Lucy!"

As small voice pierced their panic as Lucy stumbled towards them shivering slightly,
"Has anyone seen my coat?"

Relief was made prominent across their expressions, as Peter wrapped the soaked fur around small shoulder.

"Don't you worry dear, your brothers got you well looked after." Enzo nodded his gaze travelling the distance,

"I don't think your going to need those much longer." The sight of blossomed trees, coaxed a grin from the boy, his hand clasping Susan's as coats were abandoned and the sun, exuded heat, melting the blanket of snow once possessing the forest.

A horn blared in the distance as the four of them sauntered through the camp, the beavers trailing behind as they marvelled at the scene.

Troops rallied behind them the sight of humans stunning to the war preparations, Susan's voice singing through clenched teeth, "Why are they staring at us?"

Enzo chuckled, as his head held high amongst the peering eyes, "Your their saviours, their High King and Queens, why wouldn't they stare."

Lucy giggled eyes gazing at Susan's taller body "Maybe they think you look funny."

Enzo held Susan hand, a face conceded of understanding and reassure as they walked.

They came to pause at the sight of a centaur, unsheathing their blades, as Enzo spoke, his sword dropping its point buried in the grass,
"We've come to see Aslan."

The troops as bowed, falling to their knees or their heads dropping below their shoulders, Enzo fell to his knees, the lion stepping out of his tent to spectate the marvel the Pevensie siblings had created.

His beady eyes, prompted Susan, Peter and Lucy to follow suit falling to their knees before the Lion, another following suit closely, a familiar animal that Enzo has already encountered.

"Welcome Peter and Enzo, sons of Adam, welcome Susan and Lucy, daughters of Eve. Welcome beavers, you have my thanks, but where is the fifth?" The group rose slowly cautious as they spoke,

"That's why we're here, Sir, we need your help." Peter spoke cautiously sheathing his blade,

"We had a little trouble along the way." Susan gripped into Enzo his voice soft as he spoke,

"Their brothers been captured by the White Witch." Aslan gazed perplexed and dismayed at the revelation,

"Captured, how could this happen?" His rhetoric prompted the beaver's intervention, the woodland creature shifting the blame momentarily,

"He betrayed them, your majesty." The spectators all gasped seemingly offended by the gesture,

"Then he has betrayed us all." Enzo ground his teeth seething, eyes narrow as he glared at the centaur, Susan's presence the only placid feature retaining his calm,

"Peace, Orius, I'm sure there's an explanation." Peter nodded solemnly, guilt clawing at his throat,

"It's my fault really, I was too hard on him." Susan sighed, as Enzo clapped his back, assuring him blameless,

"We all were." Lucy nodded her small voice cautious and vulnerable as she stood,

"Sir, he's our brother." The lion nodded, a regal disappointment clawing at his expression,

"I know dear one, but that only makes the betrayal all the worse." The second lion spoke, disrupting his previous silence, standing aside Aslan, as the latter nodded,

"This may be harder than you think."

Enzo stood idly, conversing with a blacksmith, attempting to achieve commissioned armour, in preparation for the battle forthcoming.

The faun nodded, slowly forming a constructive idea of what he desired, until the sound of Susan's horn, forced his legs to travel in her direction.

His sword was released from its sheath baring at the wolves that threatened both Susan and Lucy as they scaled a tree in hopes of respite.

"Come on we've been through this before, we all know neither of you have it in you." Peters figure invaded his peripheral vision, the young King also drawing blade.

The troops charged foreword silenced by Aslan's command, "No, this is their fight."

"You may think your a King but your going to die like a dog!" The wolf lunged at Peter, Enzo pushing Peter as he tackled the wolf, Maulgrims jaw latching to his shoulder as his sword ran through the animals heart.

"Enzo!" Susan and Lucy both dismounted from the tree rushing to the boy, hidden beneath the wolfs body, they pushed the animal from his panicked at the sight of blood.

Enzo enveloped them both, disregarding the throbbing pain possessing his shoulder.
"Enzo, clean your sword."

Enzo nodded obeying the order as he kneeled before Aslan, the lions paw touching his uninjured shoulder, "Rise, Sir Enzo Wolfsbane, Knight of Narnia."

He sheathed his blade, Susan rushing to embrace him, a grunt escaping his chest,
"Sorry." Enzo nodded, following Susan's lead as she removed his shirt cleaning the wounds.

"When did you become so good at this?" Susan giggled gentle swiping at the blood decorating his skin,

"My mum, she taught me and Lucy the basics before we left, made sure we could take care of each other." Enzo nodded slowly,

"My Dad taught me, he's a Doctor, made sure I knew everything I'd need to know before I left." Susan smiled softly, the bandage cold against his warm skin, Susan fingers cold as she traced his back.

"Where is he now?" Enzo shrugged disheartened,

"He was going to France when I left, to work on the front lines, my mother too."
