Back home

We finish international break and we finally get to go home. I get home and I see Leah crying on the sofa. I rush to her side "hey what's wrong?" I ask
"I've messed up" she says
"Why? What's happened" I ask
She sobs even harder. "Le, what's happened?" I ask again pulling her into a hug.
She doesn't talk. I message Beth to come over.
After 10 minutes Beth appears in the room and she still hadn't stopped crying. "I don't know what's happened. I got in and she was sobbing." I explain to Beth.
"Leah what's wrong?" Beth asks and hugs her.
"I messed up" she says
"How? What have you done?" Beth asks
"You can't be mad" she says quieter, crying even more.
"Is it illegal?" Beth asks. She shakes her head and Beth sighs a sense of relief.
"So if it's not illegal it can't be that bad?" Beth reassures her.
I leave them two to it, as much as I should be the one supporting Leah I know Beth knew how to get her to talk and I couldn't.

Beth walks in after 5 minutes with shock on her face. "Beth what's happened?" I ask
"She wants to talk to you. But do not get mad at her" she says sternly.
"Okay" I say.

I walk in to where Leah is sat and I sit on the coffee table. "How do I even start this" she says and puts her hand on her head.
"We can work through whatever's happened" I say
"No, I don't think we can" she says looking at me.
"What why?" I ask
"I want to break up" she says. The 5 words that just silenced my world.

"Say something" she says
"There's nothing to say"
I stand up and grab my coat and put my shoes on before walking out the front door. I go to Katie's house, tears streaming down my face.

"What's wrong" she asks
"She broke up with me" I say
She welcomes me in her house and sits me down on the sofa. "Sorry for disturbing you guys" I say
"Hey no, don't be apologising" Caitlin says

I pull myself together "wow I'm a mess" I say
"You deserve to be. Do you want to talk about what happened?" Katie asks
"I got home, she was just crying. I asked her what's wrong but she wouldn't tell me. I asked Beth to come over and I left them two alone, you know for Leah to talk to her I didn't want to invade in their privacy. Beth came through looking shocked saying she wanted to speak to me. She ended things" I say
"Why do I always fall for people who can't seem to stay" I add and start to cry again.
"Why can't I just find my true love. The actual person who wants to stay with me for the rest of my life" I add
"You can't blame yourself" Katie says rubbing my back.

They let me stay at theirs so I take the spare bedroom. The next morning Katie gave me a spare training kit. We get to training and thr girls feel the tension in the air. I sit with Katie, Caitlin, Steph, Jen and Alessia.
"How come your wearing Katie's kit?" Alessia asks
"I slept there last night" I say
I lean into Katie and close my eyes. I see Leah coming in laughing with Beth. I look down at my hands before deciding to get up and walk out.

Katie POV
"Real smooth that was Leah" I say angrily.
"What?" She asks in a happy mood.
"Are you have a fucking joke. You broke the girl last night and you turn up all fucking happy what do you expect?" I say
"Wait you broke up last night?" Jen asks
"She's a twat" Leah says
"Leah don't!" Beth says
"She did nothing to you Leah! She was crying until early hours. She's shattered and exhausted. You've drained her completely." I say before finding her.

I walk round London Colney before finally finding her slumped against a wall in a corridor. I pull her into a hug, "she's just being a bitch" I say to Logan,
"I'm sorry for walking out" Logan says
"Don't worry about it" I say
Eventually I help Logan build the confidence to walk back in. We walk in together her still hugging into my side, we sit down and she didn't want to eat anything.
Leah comes over "could we talk Logan?" She asks
I see Logan scrambling for words. "Just go away Leah, she doesn't want to talk to you" I say
"You didn't even tell me why! You just cried in Beth's arms! Then ended things with me! So why did you end it! I just want to know!" Logan shouts out and stand up
