"Ok ok ok, this one is important." Peter says keeping in step with me.
I chuckle, "ok ok ok."
"Who is your favorite superhero?"
"Hmm." I swing our hands a bit, "Well, I like a hero who's young and smart, with bug themed powers of course."
His chest puffs up a bit, "Of course."
"Like Ant-Man." I finish.
He raises an eyebrow at me, "I think you may be forgetting about someone."
I smile, "Oh yeah?"
"Maybe he's all those things, and he's in read handsome and funny."
"Still sounds like you're talking about Ant-Man to me."
He rolls his eyes.
"But there is another superhero I like." I add.
He smirks, "that is?"
"Captain America."
He scoffs, "you are unbelievable."

I chuckle, "you're look so goofy when you're mad."
"You love it."
"I do."
His cheeks turn red and he breaks eye contact, "is it ok if-"
I nod and he cups my cheek and brings his lips to mine.

"We should probably actually go to lunch now." I say.
He sighs, "It smells so bad in that cafeteria."

When we walk in the room MJ shoots Ned a look, "I told you! You owe me five bucks."
"Dang it!" Ned whines, "you had to have set this up."
She shrugs, "I'm just profiting off of your stupidity."
"You're going to start a pyramid scheme or something, I swear." Ned angrily mutters.
"What makes you think I haven't already?" She asks jokingly.
"Hey MJ, how many boxes of those vitamins do I have to sell again?" I add
"I hate you guys." Ned kids

When I open my bedroom door and see Bucky sitting on my bed.
"What are you doing here?" I whisper yell setting my bag down next to the door.
"Saying goodbye."
"Why? Where are you going?"
"Wakanda, for my recovery. I need to know I won't hurt anyone ever again."
"Can't I come with you?"
"You have a life here Y/n. You don't need to be ripped away from that over some fugitive."
"You're not some fugitive, you're all the family I have."
"You have the Bartons now, you don't need me."
"I'll always need you."
"I'll only be one call away if you really need me, I promise."

I sigh and give him a hug, "You deserve to forgive yourself."
"That's why I need to go."
"Write me, maybe once this is all over I can come visit."
He smiles, "Sure kid."

I watch him climb out the window and my phone starts ringing. It's Ned.
"Y/n, me and Peter got this absolutely massive Lego set. 100,000 pieces, you gotta come over and help us build it. I bet it'll take all night."
"As great as that sounds," I say sarcastically, "I'm watching my siblings tonight. Maybe try MJ."
"I did, she said it sounds lame and this is why I don't have a girlfriend."
I laugh, "Brutal."
"You would come if you weren't babysitting though, right?"
I continue to laugh, "No, a whole night is crazy. We have school tomorrow."
"You're loss."
"I'll bring you guys coffee though."
"You're an angel. I knew there was a reason I like you better than MJ."
"I hope you can hear me rolling my eyes right now."

"What'd she say?" I hear Peter yell in the background.
"No!" Ned yells back

I smile to myself and hang up.
I kick off my shoes and take off my hoodie before going back out with Cooper, Lila, and Nathaniel.
"Now that Clint and Laura are gone we can have ice cream Sundays." I announce.
"Why couldn't we before?" Lila asks.
"Because they would've made us eat dinner first." Cooper explains with a devious smile.
"If they ask I made chicken nuggets." I tell them smiling along.

Peter's POV

"I think we might need help." I say looking at the array of pieces sprawled out across the floor.
"Call MJ." Ned suggests.
"I can't find my phone, I think I lost in the void that used to be your room."
"I'll call her then." Ned says whipping his phone out of his back pocket.
After a few rings she picks up and I hear her classic, "hey loser" echo out of the speaker.
"MJ, me and Peter got this absolutely massive Lego set. 100,000 pieces, you gotta come over and help us build it. I bet it'll take all night." He says.
She laughs, "absolutely not, that sounds so lame."
"It is not!" Ned argues.
"This is why you don't have a girlfriend."
"I could get a girlfriend if I wanted one."
She makes fake static noise, "You're breaking up."
Ned rolls his eyes, "I hate you."
MJ continues to make the static noises, then hangs up.
"Wow, brutal." I say.
Ned shrugs, "Guess I'll try Y/n."

Y/n picks up almost immediately and Ned begins talking before she even has a chance to say anything.
They go back and forth for a bit, but I can't make out what she's saying because Ned had wandered to the other side of the room looking for the instructions booklet.

"What'd she say?" I call.
"No!" Ned yells back.
"hello?" He says more quietly. He shakes his head and puts his phone back in his pocket, "She hung up."
"Guess it's just the two of us then."
"Better find your phone so you can let May know you're spending the night."
