19- 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲

Smiling, running through the house I reached the living room.

Suddenly every love song I've ever heard started playing in my mind.
The memories flooding in sync.

I've fallen in love with her

While I was humming to a song imagining her smiling face I heard something falling and crashing.
She ran towards me.. but this time, I wasn't imagining her.

It's really Eira, crying and running through the house frantically, towards me.

As soon as she reached she hugged me.

"Eira-ya.. is something wrong?"
She just shook her head.
E- don't ask me anything.. please.. I'm sorry.
"No.. don't be sorry ba- Eira"
Don't be sorry baby..

I shusshed her while slowly rubbing her back.
"It's gonna be ok"
She raised her head from my chest.
E- no.. it's only getting worse. It's all gonna end. It's gonna end.
And then she started sobbing uncontrollably, in my arms.
Tears welled up in my eyes too.
I wrapped her fragile frame around me almost getting scared that I might break her.

Am I the reason why she's feeling like this?

"It's not gonna end. Nothing is ending.. don't worry.. I'm here"
E- are you gonna leave me?
"No.. no I'm not leaving.."

I hid her in my chest again and we stayed like that for a long time. Until her crying stopped. But she wasn't any better. I could see it in her eyes..

Something is bothering her. But I can't ask her because it'll hurt her more.

Her crying broke me slowly, piece by piece just as we both fell apart.
And I don't even know the reason..

But I think I know that feeling.
The fear of losing everything you ever loved. Breaking you apart every second.

E- I don't wanna leave. I don't want to go back jungkook-ah.. hide me. Let's run away.
I wiped her tears.
"I will fight everything that tries to take you away from me. You're not going anywhere. I'll hide you in my chest like this-" I hugged her
"So that no one can steal you from me"

I gathered the courage to kiss her forehead.
She only scooted closer.

She comes closer to me. Her hands shaking, holding the knife. Her grip tightens a sob echoes.
I can't move. Can't stop her.
"I loved you. I loved you every moment I was here" passing the knife through my stomach, she said.
My blood on her hands she cries.
"Why..."
The drakness get's unbearable.

Flinching, I moved away.
I moved away from her, getting scared?
She looked at me confused.

That's when I realised it was a dream.

She looked at me with the swollen eyes and her cheeks red from crying too much.
She looked the same.

E- was it a nightmare?
"Y-yeah.. the worst of them all"
She pulled my tshirt to pull me closer to her, the scenes repeating in my head. But she kissed my forehead gently.
E- We're not gonna give up. Never.
"Never"
