Like 1. Darius looks absolutely amazing, a grown up boy now indeed. The quality of the animation looks so much better than the first show. Budget is a lot bigger for sure and 2. It may be taken as good or bad news, but Paul Mikel Williams is the only one out of the cast confirmed to be returning. Which is a little sad for me since I want to see the rest of the camp fam again, especially in this new upgraded HQ style. But who knows, let's wait and see.
Anyways I am ecstatic that our not so little Dino-Nerd is coming back!! 😭
Now I gotta be honest with you all, after Camp Cretaceous ended. My motivation to continue this book was fading away (slowly), the interactive episode we got did help but I wasn't as hooked anymore afterwards. I just missed the show, from binge watching every time a new season dropped and keeping up to date with any news regarding the show.
Then when they announced this new series, my excitement wasn't the same because I assumed and expected it to focus or center on a new lead or group of characters in the Jurassic universe.
But my curiosity peaked and decided to give it a shot, timeskip to now after DreamWorks decided to drop this teaser with the Hollywood Strike over. Laying in bed and watching the teaser not expecting much and to my surprise, my boy Darius comes into frame at the last few seconds of the video and I legit screamed when it happened. XD
Also, it's like they pulled a HTTYD 2 teaser inspo with this one by showing the main character who went from a smart cutie to an absolute hottie. My reaction is exactly the same, my jaw dropped and fell to the floor once my eyes saw our boys. 😂😭😍
So, with that being said. I'll be posting a new chapter soon from rewatching that teaser and having it in my head for almost the en the entire day.
