I felt my heart drop and my anger rise at the words he spoke. It was like venom was falling from his lips as evil was laced in his expression.

"I'll kill you."

I seethed as I spoke my words lowly through my teeth. The man only laughed before scraping a small gash over my cheek. I winced as I forced my head down quickly.

"No! Santanhí!"

My heart ached at the call from my sister. I heard the man scoff as he stood and moved his attention away from me. I needed to keep my head down. They would see it heal. It would not be there if I left my head. They would know and then everyone would be in even more danger. I was warned before. I had to be careful.

"No! Let her go! Let her go!"

My head shot up slightly hearing Spider yell. My braids hung in front of my face trying to keep the healed wound hidden. I felt worry corse through me as the man held the knife against Kiri's throat. Instead of inflicting any damage on her, his attention was turned to the human boy.

"What's your name?"

I looked over to my sister giving her as comforting as a nod as I could. I just wanted to keep her safe. My job was to keep her from all of this and I failed.

"Spider.... Socorro."

The expression on the man's threatening face flickered to something else. I watched the exchange carefully looking for any opening of an escape.

"Miles?..."

"No body calls me that."

Spider snapped back quickly at the Avatar. By now it was clear he led the group of Avatars.

"I thought they sent you back to earth."

He knew him. Spider knew him. The evil man. The man who killed my people. The man who killed my parents.

"You can't put babies in cryo dipshit."

His attitude was like Lo'ak's. He spoke recklessly. Soon enough we were all being held hostage as a couple of the Avatars searched through the shack. Me and Lo'ak were now held by the same guy. I had heard the leading man call for someone with the same device Lo'ak had. Something about having "precious cargo" with them.

Slowly it was getting darker and darker. Rain had began to fall as I could feel myself losing hope by the second. Kiri was speaking quiet prayers to Eywa with Tuk held next to her.

"Lo'ak.."

I spoke weakly. My voice was laced with worry as I looked towards my sister who was held alone. She was afraid. She had heard the man's words about our parents. That was the first time she had found out about their death, and that the monsters holding us were their killers.

"We'll be okay Santanhí..."

I wanted to fight off the man. I knew it was stupid. There was no way for us to escape, but I needed to get to my sister.

Suddenly there was a calling from a distance. Multiple times. I looked at the boy next to me asking with my eyes if it was who I thought. I received a small nod, Neytiri and Jake were here to save us.
