you were the light in a personal hell
came from the peace of the earth
to wish eternally on your eyes
alive you made us then
your eyes of the open water
words of the sweet calm
the world made sense for a minute
as you told me everything
the light that spoke so safely
beauty unimagined
i could sleep forever knowing you
violet skies, no more clouds
i hope you can be forever
for i love the words you speak
maybe if i left the dream
you could love tomorrow too
