on the dock of life
within the ocean of remorse
come down from your head
sink within my words
look out upon the open water
into a lake of memories
pale like your eyes
i wish i could cry
purpose in the everliving corrosion
come to the edge of happiness
don't leap just yet
you are the end from the beginning
goodnight-
goodbye-
the water is cold on my skin
oh how you are the exit
