AHHH GUYS IM BACK!! Sorry for that long ass break, I'm falling out of my outsider's phase sadly but I still love them tho. Dw I'll still try and update every once in a while I promise!! *timeskip to 2 hours before she leaves*
I wake up with a groggy groan, stretching with a yawn as I push myself to sit up in the small, uncomfortable hospital bed
I let out a sleepy sigh, thinking for a moment.
Suddenly I jump up, my eyes widened with realization before looking to the ticking clock on the wall to confirm.
'Today I get out!'
I think to myself, grinning with relief and excitement
Moments after the door opens, the nurse and the whole gang walking in.
The nurse seems to notice my smile judging by the look on her face
"Ms Randle, I assume you realize you will be getting released today?"
She said after closing the door back, all the boys coming in and sitting, Steve, Dally, and Darry standing.
"Yep"
I beem with clear joy, with a happy smile on my face
She writes some things down after talking a little more and telling me the time I'll be released, then finally leaving for me and the guys to talk
"You get to come home now Gracie!"
Steve says, with joy as he reaches over and gives my hand a little squeeze as all the boys smile
"I know, I'm so glad!"
I respond with the same amount of enthusiasm and squeeze his hand back
I notice Dally out of the corner of my eye, hes leaning on the wall beside the bed, looking a bit awkward like hes fighting back to say something
I give him a little reassuring smile and his eyes flash over to me, softening slightly when he makes eye contact but then looking away, them hardening again.
Scared of being vulnerable.
After a few moments of the rest of the gang talking to me and telling me about things that have happened since they've last seen me Dallas finally speaks.
"We've missed you Gracie"
