Legs That Can Not Walk (Bbangsaz)

Minji's pov

I woke up late today, and I didn't see Hanni anywhere, I want to go downstairs but I can't because I can't go downstairs with wheelchair, so I try to walk, I did my best but as soon as I got up from the chair I lost my balance and fall downstairs, I was conscious for a minute but then I blacked out,

Hanni's pov

I was just out side of the house chopping the woods when I heard a loud noise coming from inside, I run in and saw Minji on the floor with her head bleeding, at that moment I wanted do anything I could to save her, I run and held her close,

"Minji hey, Minji baby hey" i didn't waste time and pick Minji up, I set her in the car and drove to the nearest hospital,

As soon as we reach the hospital, i pick her and run inside the doctor was there and he quickly admitted Minji in,

I stood out side of her room, while doctor was attending her, After what feels like forever the doctor come out,

"Doctor how is she, is everything ok with her" the doctor smile at me and asked me to go with him, he ask me to take a sit, I was waiting nervously for him to talk. "First she's alright, she didn't lose blood and the cut was small, and the second thing is your wife have a little movement in her legs, she's feeling pain in her legs, you should help her, she can walk again" I was in shock of happiness when I heard that my wife can walk,

"What do I do, how can I help her so she can walk" I was so happy that I could cry, the doctor give me a list of things that will help her,

"This is the things that will help her, this oil is for her legs, massage her legs at least for an hour everday and the liquid use with warm water, like in the bath tub while she's taking a bath, and this leg bandage use it whenever she try to get up or walk, ok" I nodded and walked to Minji's room where I saw her sitting on the bed with pout and crossed hands,

"Minji" I walked in and hug her, I kiss her head and pulled away,

"Doctor said you can walk again" as soon as I said that her eyes wided and got teary,

"You're not lying right" I shook my head and for the first time she hugged me and cry like a baby, I held her close to me,

"Hey don't cry, you will hurt yourself again, don't cry" I kiss her on the head many times and she relaxed,

"You sleep here, I will just complete the formalities so we can go home ok" she nodded and I walked out.

When we reach home I saw an unfamiliar people standing in front of our door, I parked my car and helped minjeong on the wheelchair, as we walked closer to them they smile at us,

"Hello" they said and bow, I did the same,

"Hello" I said and I was a little awkward because they were unknown people to me,

"I'm Minjoo and this here is my wife Yujin, we're your neighbor, actually we wanted to greet you and welcome you a few weeks ago but we thought you just moved here so we didn't wanted to bother you" she said politely and her wife who looked more of a silent person was waiting for her turn to come so she can talk,

"You know what, now I have someone to talk then, because when Hanni go to work I'm all alone" said Minji with a chuckled,

"Please come in I would like to know you guy's" Minji invited and I nodded with a smile as well, it's good that she will have someone to talk now,

"So what happened to you, how did you get hurt" ask Yujin and I went in the kitchen to bring some water for our guests, when Minjoo came in with a food pot in hand, I gave her an questioning look and she chuckled,

"It's lasagna my wife make, when she saw you taking your wife to hospital, she suggested that we should help them and make something for then, because I can tell you don't know how to cook, am I wrong" I chuckle at her words because she was damn right, I nodded,

"Let's serve it then I'm hungry" she laughed at me and we served for four of us,

"My wife is going to kill me, because this is for you guys and here I'm inviting myself in the strangers house" I shook my head and carried two plates in my hand,

"You're my neighbor right, so we're not strangers, it will take some time to become close friends yeah, but still we will become friends I guess" she nodded and take two plates as well, for her and her wife,

"Minjoo, I told you, we will eat at home, why are you inviting yourself" Yujin glare at her and that made Minji laugh,

"Hey don't scold her, we can all eat together,

it's been so long since I have eaten with

friends and now that you guys are our

friends, there will be more lunches and

dinners together" said Minji, Yujin smile

at us and we all settled on the couch eating and

talking about some stuff here and there,

"Also the doctors told me that my wife can walk again" I was so happy that I wanted to share this news with everyone,

"Oh my god that's cool" Yujin vsaid to Minji and squeeze her shoulder as a support,

"Hey Hanni, I have a plan if you don't mind" I nodded and ask Minjoo to continue,

"I was about to buy some ocean sand so that I can make a small path for Yujin to walk in the evening, why don't you help me" I didn't understand what she wanted say, but still nodded so she continued,

"There's a wall between both our houses right, we can breake the wall and dump at least five trucks of ocean sand and spread it around the both houses, so we both families can have a beach type feels, and you can help Minji practice walking there and you won't be scared of her falling and hurting herself because ocean Sand doesn't hurt, she can practice on her own and sometimes Yujin can help her" I wided my eyes at her suggestion, it was the best suggestion, Minji and I quickly nodded and I shake hands with Minjoo,

"I agree let's do that, When do you want us to start working" I ask both our wife's,

"Start with tomorrow, Minji will stay at our house, since she's hurt and loud noise can give her headache" I nodded and we eat again while talking here and there,

And for the first time in a long while I was happy, this girls here was very easy going and it was like we have been friends for a long time, this girls aren't anything like my old friends, This girls are more of a family person then I ever myself was, I think it's better to live around good people's because they teach you some much about life without saying a word,
