Authors Note

Hey everyone! I just want to tell you all how much I appreciate every single one of you that have read this story! It means so much to me.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to continue this story like I had planned. Between still grieving my dad, generally adulting/parenting, and dealing with the trauma my mom has caused over the years, I can't bring myself to focus enough to get more than a paragraph or two done.
I've finally managed to find someone to talk to about all this. Since that's the case for me, I'm going to take some time away from writing and work on myself.
Thank you all so much for supporting this story! You're all so amazing! I hope you all have a good rest of the year and I wish you all the best for 2024!
