Ruby and Abinus were on the elevator that went up to Ozpin's office. "So, you think this is about that girl from last night?" Ruby asked. "I don't think so. I know that's what this is about." Abinus said.

The elevator came to a stop and the two Huntsmen-in-training stepped out to see Ozpin, Glynda and Ironwood. "Sorry it took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the elevator on the way up here." Ruby said. There was a small pause before she explained, "It wasn't us."

"Thank you for coming, Ruby, Abinus. How are you feeling?" Ozpin said. "Fine, but I'm just confused." Abinus said. "I'm okay, I guess. I'd feel better if my bad-guy-catching record wasn't O-for-three." Ruby said.

All the adults stared silently. "Okay, so that's the tone we're going for, got it." Ruby commented. "Ruby, Abinus, I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what the two of you did last night exactly what being a Huntsman or Huntress is all about. You recognized a threat. You took action. And you both did the very best you could." Ironwood said.

"Thank you, General." Abinus said. "Now, the General here has already informed us of the events that... transpired last night, but now that you two have rested, we were wondering if you had anything to add." Ozpin said.

"Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?" Glynda asked. "I... I don't know. She was wearing a mask, and she never said anything to us." Ruby said.

"She fought with glass. I don't know if that was her Semblance, thought. Her clothing lit up when she attacked, and it almost looked like her eyes were glowing too." Abinus added.

"Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night we met Ruby." Glynda said. "Embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone." Ironwood said.

"Wait. You think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang?" Ruby asked. "It's possible. But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together." Ozpin said.

"Actually, I... I think I remember her saying something about a hideout, or something, in the southeast. Just outside the Kingdom." Ruby said. Abinus looked at Ruby, slightly confused. He hadn't heard anything about that.

"Interesting." Ozpin said. "I thought you said the intruder never-" Ozpin cut Glynda off. "Thank you both for your cooperation. Why don't you go and spend some time with your teams? You have a big day ahead of you."

"Any time." Ruby said, starting to walk towards the elevator and Abinus following. "And, please try and be... discreet about this matter." Ozpin added. "Yes sir." Abinus said.

Ruby and Abinus got on the elevator and headed back down to the ground level. They went back to their dorms to go and hang with their teammates. Abinus opened the door to see Nate on his bed, playing a game on his Scroll.

Once the door opened, he put his Scroll down. "What was that about?" he asked. Abinus sighed as he shut the door. "I know you won't leave me alone until I tell you." he said, moving to sit on his own bed.

Nate looked at him curiously. Abinus explained what had happened the night of the dance. "That's... strange. And she didn't say anything?" Nate said.

"No. I'm just confused. I want to know who she is and why she was there." Abinus said. Glynda came on over the intercom. "Would all fist-year students please report to the amphitheater?" she said.

Abinus got up and Nate did too. The pair made their way to the auditorium. They went and stood behind Team RWBY and in front of Team JNPR. "Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin." Glynda said, making the entire crowd quiet down.

"Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly 80 years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that is held to this very day. We encourage individuality, expressionism, and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. Which is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best." Ozpin said.

He stepped away as the students started to file out of the amphitheater. "Alright, what do you say we go for?" Nate asked. Abinus thought for a moment before answering.

"What about Patrol Protection? It's pretty simple." Abinus said. "Sure! Let's go." Nate said. They walked over to the Patrol Protection and started scrolling through the options.

Nate stopped at one mission. "Look, this one's close by. Just outside the Kingdom. The town is called Trist." he said. Abinus looked at the mission. Sure enough, Trist was the listed location.

I'm sorry, Dad. I leave and now your calling for help. Abinus thought as he stared at the mission. Nate waved his hand in front of his leader's face. "Uh, Abinus? What're we doing here?" he asked.

Abinus looked at his teammate before stepping forward and tapping the mission in Trist. He entered his team name and it said that the mission was selected and that it would begin the next morning.

Him and Nate left the auditorium to go back to their dorm. "What was with you zoning out back there? You were gone and in your own thoughts or something." Nate said.

"I'm from Trist." Abinus said. Nate blinked a couple times. "Look, my dad is basically the person who people consider the leader of town. I was the main defense and after I left, he must've sent for help." Abinus said.

"Man. That must suck. Having your hometown calling for  help after you left can't feel good." Nate said. "It doesn't." Abinus said. "It stabs you right in the chest."
